Helnæs Kro Assens

Highly recommended! The food is truly exceptional! The Parisian-style minced steak came with red onions, horseradish, capers, vegetables, and egg yolk – a perfectly balanced combination! The children's portions are very generous. Dessert is also incredibly delicious! The house and garden are lovely, and you feel very comfortable there! Reservations are advisable! Unfortunately, there are very few restaurants in the area; Helnæs Kro is a real hidden gem!

It's simply a fantastic place, super cozy, few but very good dishes. There's nothing better than Helnæs Kro!

We get shooting stars every now and then, but have never, ever had one as delicious as at Helnæs Kro. Not overloaded with shrimp and other things. Just right, so you can taste it all on the buttered toasted bread😋 That, together with the service - for example, beer and coffee are poured - makes it a lovely experience, which ended with a good cup of coffee with strawberry trifle.😊

Delicious food. Good service. Cozy premises. The inn is surrounded by the most beautiful nature.

Super cozy inn, delicious food, good service. Got a pan-fried fish fillet it was good, should have been homemade rye bread, so it should be 5 * The wife got a shrimp cocktail that was more shrimp than salad, Super.

We had a delicious Easter menu, surrounded by the perfect inn atmosphere.

It's nice to come to an old inn where the spirit of the times has been cherished and at the same time you get a really good dinner and a lovely calm atmosphere and service.
