We had the vegan platter and the red sauce. Both dishes were very good. The coffee ceremony was a very special experience.

Lovelyand caring service from Lydia! Super cozy little restaurant that serves wonderful meaty dishes. Beef cooked overnight, lamb stew, fresh vegetables and good vibes. Two people, 400 krone!

My date and I were planning on going to a coffee house but it was closed, so we walked a block and spotted this place... Definitely a feast of an experience! Not only my first restaurant in Denmark, also my first time trying Ethiopian cuisine! We ended up getting the meat sampler and the veggie sampler, all beautifully laid out on a giant plate to share, with so many different flavors to experience. The service was sweet and attentive, the decor was interesting, and the place had a wonderful cozy feel to it. A fantastic meal to share over some excellent conversation! 😊

The staff were so helpful with helping choose options as I was unsure what to pick. We had the vegan platter and it was absolutely delicious. I will he returning when visiting Denmark again.

We really enjoyed the food and the service. If you want to try Ethiopian food, this is the place. Lots of flavors and spices.

The enjera was wonderful, we liked the vegetarian dishes the most 🫓🧆🥗 The chicken dish with egg was nothing extraordinary, and we probably won't order it again 🥘 Good and fast service, and quiet and calm atmosphere ✨

The staff is so nice and always serves with a smile. The food tastes so good and it’s well spiced. Also we’re told we cannot only get pancake refilled but also the beef🫨 this is literally a bit mind blowing for this nice food, service and reasonable price.

Amazing menu. Mimi at the back was a great chef, and Soni at the front of house was warm and friendly. They were almost out of everything but still welcomed us with open arms and gave us plenty of food for our hungry group of 3. Have had Ethiopian around the world and this was really really good.

01/04/2025: I ordered catering from Flames Restaurant and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! The food was delivered on time, which is incredibly important when organizing an event. The service was top notch – friendly, professional and accommodating. The staff were helpful and made sure everything was as it should be. The food was delicious, well prepared and of high quality, and both I and my guests were very satisfied. I highly recommend Flames Restaurant if you are looking for reliable catering with good service and tasty food! I will definitely order from here again.

15/10/2025: Recommendations: -Starters： 🥟Raviole of Langoustine ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fresh ingredients yet too salty. 🦞Blue lobster with marinated tomato ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing taste but the portion of tomato could be bigger. -Main Course： 🐔Poulet Au Vin Jaune ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Not creative but still very tasty. 🐟Poached cod ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The garnish and the sauce are just perfect! 🫎Venison Pithivier ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The best of all!! Deluxe version of beef Wellington, a must try. As an art of the table, the dish was partitioned beside the table for the guests. -Dessert 🫐Blueberry and buckwheat ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Not too sweet it’s my highest compliment.
12/10/2025: We visited the Marchal Bar and were quite disappointed. The service was negligent and somewhat indifferent—our mint tea arrived tasting only like hot water and ginger until corrected, we had to ask for more to get what we initially ordered, our cola didn’t come the first time, the sparkling water didn’t come the first time, and when it came it was flat. On top of that, the bar food itself lacked any real taste. Overall, we expected a much better experience.
