Once again enjoyed a delicious meal with one of my girlfriends. We both absolutely love your lovely place. It's just a great place. Can be highly recommended 👍😋😋. I will be back again soon 😂😂😜😉.

Love the place. Love the food and love the service. But 2 pieces of freezer rolls with mediocre cheese for DKK 110. it is simply too strict.

I have been to Højris many times and have always been happy with it and praised it highly. The last time I was there it went downhill. Bought a piece of smørrebrød as take away. It was a piece of roast pork, which is usually excellent. It was so fat that I threw out half of it. I am so disappointed. In return, I had tapas at the restaurant, which was delicious but expensive.

We have come to Højris over the years and have always had a wonderful experience. Furthermore, we have been able to enjoy the fact that all of those we have recommended the place to have been as excited as we were. Unfortunately, we experienced having to drive again - without being able to get a table, that is stop being impulsive☺️

If I were to live in Copenhagen I would drive weekly just to have lunch at this little gem of a restaurant. Thanks again to Google maps for showing it while we were driving back from Germany to Vedbaek...the pictures shown were not convincing (merchandise? clothing?) but the star rating convinced me it was worth a stop. I ordered their 1.Juleplatte (it was the holiday season) which consisted of generous portions of herring, duck confit, vegetable salad with hazelnuts, and pickled mushrooms in sour cream. Contrasting flavors and textures that were extremely satisfying. To drink a glass of Glogg (mulled wine) was the perfect pairing. My friends were also delighted with their choices, 2.a pork belly sandwich and 3.If memory serves me right a filet of fish, over sourdough bread, topped with a fried egg sunny side up and a salad. For dessert we shared their apple crumble with whipped cream. We did not have to eat for the rest of the day. And yes the merchandise was much better in person than the poorly lit pictures posted on google

A true gem of a place we would never have found ourselves if we hadn't been recommended. Beautiful memorabilia that simply MUST be admired. Very committed owner couple and very attentive staff. Add to that a very delicious and tasty brunch, which is also cheap. We will DEFINITELY come again and hear more good stories about the place. Will also CLEARLY recommend you to others.

Lovely little cafe with excellent coffee. They also have a beautiful gift shop selling a huge range of products including clothing, bath/body care, plants, candles and handbags. The salted caramel oversized cookie was completely scrumptious!

17/01/2025: I've always passed by this place when I took train 910 and I'm glad I finally visited and brought my friends from out of town along. It's such a cute and lovely little place, right by the train platform, which just adds to the overall charm. We went for the a la carte dinner on Friday, and decided to go with the chef's choice (375 dkk per person). What we ended up with was basically having a sampler of the entire menu, which was fantastic, amazing and great value for money. My personal favourite was the crostata, but every item on the menu was well executed and flavourful. The only downside was that it was slightly too bread heavy, so by the time we reached the final courses, we were already very full. But not that we were complaining, because the bread itself was very good. I really want to thank the main person (owner?) who was very kind throughout the entire experience and extremely attentive. He had it such a memorable evening, especially because my friends travelled from Germany to visit and also because one of them had her birthday. He kindly gave us some of the toasted Piemonte hazelnuts to try and was also thoughtful in asking us when we would like the next courses and finally also gave us the desserts to takeaway, seeing that we were so full. He even gave my friends a bag from Birks and also asked if they needed cocoa powder to dust off their tiramisu back home. I look forward to coming back again to try the other dining experience on Thursday.
