Super charming and very crooked floors

The oldest hotel in the Nordic region in Denmark's first capital.

Prided for being the oldest hotel in Denmark, you can feel its history the moment you step into the lobby, with its charming period furnishings. If you want a true taste of history, this is the place to stay. The rooms are adequate and warm, though ours had a rather slanted floor. The location is excellent.. right next to the cathedral and at the start of Ribe’s old street, two of the town’s main attractions. A small hiccup during check-in: there was no one at reception, and calls to the provided number went unanswered, which meant we couldn’t access the private parking. Breakfast, however, was fantastic, with a nice variety of options.

The perfect hotel for a romantic trip back in time. Fortunately, the hotel has a spirit and tradition that goes back several centuries in history, which makes Hotel Dagmar my absolute favorite hotel in Denmark.

A very special experience in the room. Crooked floors and wick. Had a very special dinner with good information and accompanying wines. Can only be recommended. Staff smiling and helpful with everything.

Cozy quirky rooms and premises. Good breakfast, very friendly staff.

The hotel is very cozy, parking is perfect. Friendly staff both at the reception and in the restaurant (basement), dinner is good, however the basement really needs a loving hand - very worn out. Breakfast is really lacking 😕 - it was not refilled, bad bread, no eggs, was it Thick milk or what in the small glass bowls?

Denmark's oldest hotel, so everything is a bit skewed, but it has real charm. The beds are comfortable. Breakfast is good and there's plenty of choice.
