Hotel Dagmar Esbjerg

Nice location, but dirty and worn. We had a family trip, 3 rooms opposite the cathedral and one room in a side wing. Good beds, but worn carpets and it was shabby and not clean. One of the rooms had been changed, it was almost unusable and the bathroom was very worn and unhygienic. The breakfast was disappointing, it was not replenished unless we asked for it, and the breakfast was definitely not what we expected from a hotel of the standard that the hotel otherwise claims to be.

We only ate in the restaurant. The salad was delicious and the staff was very friendly. It was lovely to sit outside, with a view of Ribe Cathedral.

Good service, we arrived 4 hours early and were allowed to have the room there as it was cleaned. Good breakfast, although it lacked soft-boiled eggs and a little more fruit, but they still deserve top marks

Great historic hotel with great service and food

Location near the cathedral. Friendly staff, but they didn't know their own menu. Unfortunately, there were no vegetarian options, they were very inflexible when it came to customizing the dishes, and we had to pay more for the vegetarian option than the meat version?!

I loved everything about my stay! It’s a very cozy, historical hotel with warm, welcoming service. I felt truly at home here. The room was super cozy and quiet — I only heard my neighbors upstairs early in the morning once. Overall, it was perfect for sleeping. The location is stunning! And I haven’t even mentioned the make-your-own waffles for breakfast — they were awesome!

Had lunch there, service was perfect. We had shooting stars, delicious pan-fried fish fillets, large fresh shrimp, really a well-prepared meal.

Perfectly located, large rooms a bit in need of refreshing. Bathroom large but paper cup instead of real glass to drink. No kettle no coffee a bit disappointed for the price

Har netop oplevet en 4-retters gourmet menu i topklasse. Serveringen og stemningen var også i top. En helt igennem dejlig oplevelse.
