We ate here on the terrace in the evening sun and later under the heater The food (spare ribs) was nicely served and was a large portion It tasted good The service was not that fast but there was also only I served on the entire terrace

Short review: Hotel Dagmar in Ribe Hotel Dagmar is Denmark's oldest hotel and is centrally located on the main square in Ribe. It exudes historic charm with crooked floors, lattice windows and a cozy atmosphere. The rooms are individually decorated, and the hotel has two good restaurants - one with classic Danish food and a more rustic cellar restaurant. The location is perfect for exploring Ribe, and the service is friendly and welcoming. An authentic and atmospheric experience in the heart of the city.

Had a lovely dinner, very tasty meal of cod with a nice sauce, baby potatoes and roasted cauliflower. Tried the ale from Ribe for the first time, nice with a hint of liquorice. Service was friendly, correct and helpful. When the sun went down we could sit under the heater. In short, a warm welcome in Ribe, thanks

Enjoyed the characteristic hotel. It is the oldest hotel in Denmark 🇩🇰 Therefore nothing is straight anymore. Beds were good and breakfast was reasonable.

A fantastic old hotel with soul and charm. Really nice and good service and a lovely tasty dinner The breakfast was a bit lacking in ordinary rolls and some fruit

Well run hotel. The rooms are cozy and well maintained, especially given the age of the hotel. The food and food service is top notch. We enjoyed a long weekend in May. The general manager is helpful and very friendly.

Parfait accueil conseil vin très bon de lentre au désert très frais côte d Agneau cuisson parfaite, service au top franchement rien à réduire je conseille

19/03/2025: Good place to meet for formal gatherings such as corporate events. Can highly recommend their mocktails and sparkling tea. The dishes were top tier and in good portion sizes, so you can taste a bit of everything in one evening.
18/02/2025: Fantastisk aften med en dejlig velkomponeret menu tilsat værtsskab i topklasse - og for lige at fuldende oplevelsen kom kaffen simpelthen sammen med desserten. Spot on!!!

22/06/2025: Cozy restaurant. The price is a bit high compared to what you get. Delicious food. Good vegetable juice. Cozy atmosphere inside the restaurant.
10/05/2025: All in all a successful day, but some points that could be improved. Confirmation party with starter/main course and dessert buffet. The starter was really good; the main course (the meat) was excellent; however, some experienced that theirs was less tender than others. Butter-steamed vegetables (carrots, cauliflower, asparagus, etc.): cauliflower was very lightly steamed, actually as I prefer it, but if you prefer dead-boiled cauliflower, you would probably have thought it was raw. The dessert (fruit, brownie and ice cream) was delicious, and with a nut allergy lovely with brownie based on marzipan and not nuts.
