We stayed for 3 nights in the New Standard room. Service, comfort, breakfast, location and availability of staff EXCELLENT. The attention to detail, the essential but functional furnishings, the quality of the products served at breakfast reflect the philosophy of the Hotel as very few structures manage to enhance. The stay is very pleasant, supported by the excellent location adjacent to the train station.

We stayed two nights in this hotel. It was easy to reach it, as it is 5 minutes walk from Copenhagen central train station.
You can reach the city centre in about 10 minutes walk.
Staff were really nice and the room was small but comfortable and very cleaned!
I suggest to have there also the breakfast, because you can choose different food and everything tastes very good.
We enjoyed our stayed (:

Had a good stay here over the holidays for three nights. The location is great, close to metro and a 10min walk to Tivoli Gardens. The rooms are on the small size but the beds were extremely comfortable, as others have said. The breakfast was quite expensive but great quality, one of the better hotel breakfasts I’ve had really.
Minor quibbles - we could hear music from a nearby club late into the night due to the thin walls. The lighting in the room was very dim (hygge??) There were no temp controls in our room, just a knob to turn on a radiator. So most nights we woke up sweating from the heat. And the hotel staff were super stingy when pouring drinks at the bar! Especially for the inflated price. So I would avoid that. Overall though it was a good stay and great value for the money.

Awesome hotel in a central area of the city. The rooms are cozy and the beds are some of the most comfortable I’ve slept in while traveling, which made it hard to get up in the morning - especially knowing how cold it was outside! The staff is so friendly and I was even upgraded upon check in and offered a mini bottle of champagne. The bathroom is small but comfortable enough if you’re not too big/tall. I’m petite so it worked well for me. The decor is nice as well, very minimalistic. The only thing to consider is that the walls are pretty thin. You could hear muffled conversations or people walking above you but that’s to be expected since it’s an older hotel. I checked out the fitness room and it looked nice. I didn’t try the breakfast - it’s an additional charge for it and I decided to just try the several coffee shops nearby. I ate at a local kebab place called Killer Kebab which was amazing for a quick bite. If I ever come back to Copenhagen, I would stay at Mayfair again.

Great stay at the Hotel Mayfair. Really nice hotel and the breakfast is very good but the excellent staff are what made our stay so pleasurable. We really liked our deluxe double room and would make special mention of the wonderful bed and sumptuous pillows, the only minus was the poor flush of the toilet and slightly noisy handle on the toilet door but this is just nit-picking. We were somewhat taken aback that the hotel was opposite a red light club and that when we took a wrong turn we were right in the RL area. However, the location was excellent for access to the Christmas markets and sights.

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Mayfair. The room was clean, comfortable, and very quiet, with beds that were soft and perfect for a good night’s sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is excellent—just a short walk from the train station, making it very convenient for getting around.
The breakfast had a wide selection of food types, so there’s plenty of choice to start your day. You can also hire bicycles from the hotel, which is a great way to see Copenhagen.
For British visitors, there’s no kettle in the room, but there is a coffee machine, which worked well. Overall, a great place to stay and would recommend it.

Stayed here for my second time last week, absolutely love this hotel and the staff are incredible and welcoming and always on hand for help. Very conveniently located next to many attractions and bars and especially the central station which was a lifesaver for travelling back and forth to other locations.
facilities are great and just perfect for solo travelling. I’ve only ever stayed with a view onto the lounge area and always enjoyed looking out and seeing the different weather conditions.
I last stayed here for my 25th bday solo In August and loved it that much I came back again. Would highly recommend and I know I’ll be back again soon enough to stay for my third time now I’ve found a welcoming place

I have had a lovely stay at the Hotel Mayfair. The room is not especially large, but it is large enough for 1-2 people. The bathroom is a tight fit but it has all you need and plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The breakfast buffet is very good. It’s a better value if you add it before you arrive. Lots of cozy spots in the lobby areas to sit and visit with others and have a drink if you would like. The location is two blocks from the central station. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby. It’s a quiet location too. The bed is super comfortable.

Perfect location for a trip to Copenhagen: clean and quiet (even if central railway station is very close); nice room (Deluxe King Room); surrounding seems to be safe; short walking distance to bus, railway and metro station; cool interior design; friendly staff - what else do you need?
