Hotel Sønderborg Strand Sønderborg

In overral pretty nice hotel. Breakfast with lots of options, even after six days it gets little boring. Tv could be improved with some smart tv and streaming options. Lots of parking, super close to the fort and the port. Staff super friendly and great selection of beers in the bar. Will be definitelly back.

Great location in Sonderborg, comfortable room size, plenty of parking and an acceptable breakfast. We even had a view of the Baltic Sea.

Hotel Sønderborg Strand, with a fantastic location in the heart of Sønderborg, has shown exceptionally good service and customer care in a case where I mistakenly booked accommodation for two days for a group of 12 people, where we did not show up. They have shown great understanding for my situation and misunderstanding and have agreed to indemnify me. Really good style and customer service. You can safely enter with them.

No longer a hidden gem. We had to book well in advance, despite traveling at the end of April. Our expectations were correspondingly high. Great service, lovely staff, and friendly cleaning staff... The food was wonderful, beautifully presented – exactly how you want to enjoy your getaway. Thank you so much for the relaxing time we were able to have here. But be aware, the rooms above the kitchen area are a bit noisy in the evenings 🫣

We had purchased an overnight stay with 3-course meal and breakfast through Risskov Bilrejser. The hotel is nice and clean and has a lovely location close to the water at Sønderborg Castle. The staff were friendly. The room was nicely decorated. The bed was far too hard with a too thin top mattress. The cold water in the bathroom was lukewarm. The dinner was ok, but by no means gourmet. The meat was not tender. The breakfast was ok, but not of a standard that is comparable to other similar hotels at the same price level. Neither in terms of selection nor quality.

Lovely hotel with a super good location by both the beach and town. The food was really good and it came incredibly quickly, even though there were many guests. Very friendly staff both morning and evening.

Stayed at the hotel for one night on a deal with accommodation, 3 course menu and breakfast. The room was nice, large, a little worn and with a terrible shower. It was completely limescaled, and felt like syle. The 3 course dinner was delicious and tasty. However, the bread for starters was very dry. The service was fast and polite. Breakfast was nice, but missed the opportunity to get a caffe latte or other delicious coffee. Most of the staff at the hotel were foreign. The location is tip top in relation to the center and the water.
