Hotel Thinggaard, menu Thisted

When we got down to the restaurant we were greeted with this comment from the waiter. "What do you want?" We were somewhat surprised as we had checked in an hour earlier and just talked about our 5-course Gourmet dinner with the same waiter. We bought 3 snacks with bubbles and it worked fine. We had ordered a bottle of white wine and a bottle of red wine. When we got the first starter we had to ask for bread and got a rather unpleasant answer. They also forgot that we had ordered a bottle of white wine, so we had to remind them of that too. When 3 courses are served, the lack of success is repeated, we had to ask for our wine again. After the main course was served and spicy, we waited 45 min. before our patience was exhausted, after which we went to the bar to grab a waiter and ask for our dessert. It is a real shame that the service is so bad, as the food is top notch.

Traditional, family hotel with comfortable and spacious rooms. Restaurant on site. Nothing to complain about.

An absolutely fantastic experience. Awesome place, superb service, excessive pampering in the restaurant for reasonable money... The breakfast was absolutely exceptional and nothing was missing. Completely blown away by that experience. We'll be back soon...❤️💪👍🥓

The best thing about the hotel is definitely the food. Strongly followed by the package price for stay, gourmet and spa. The hotel is really nice. Nice and clean rooms, good conditions, bar, take-your-own fridge and plenty of good lounge areas. The food is worth traveling for. The service is good, and the waiter was in control of the food and drinks. The food was amazing and we have never had such a quality of food for such a low price. The quantities in our 4 courses were perfect and we left full. Everyone dishes their own taste experience and very well coordinated. The only negative is the location of the hotel. Sure, it's a nice building full of history, but it's located right across from the railway station, in a slightly unused industrial-like area. However, there is not far to a park or a pedestrian street.

Rarely have I had SUCH delicious food.. super fantastic service.. just wauuuuuu❤️ I will definitely come again with my family
