Today we were served by far the best Stjerneskud (sandwich) we've ever had. The freshly caught fish (not frozen!) was cooked to perfection and served on delicious, crusty bread, not on a soggy slice of sandwich/toast as is often the case elsewhere. The fresh green asparagus was briefly blanched and delicious. It was garnished with red caviar and plenty of fresh, crisp salad. The Arctic shrimp were also tasty, and the dressing wasn't smothered, but rather presented tastefully. On our last visit, we opted for the fish buffet and can wholeheartedly recommend it. So delicious! Considering that local restaurants charge 245 kroner for a Stjerneskud with frozen fish, the 279 kroner for the buffet is unbeatable. A huge selection of hot and cold dishes; freshly prepared plaice fillet is served from the kitchen to the table, and the high-quality ice cream variations for dessert are also included. We'll be back.
