Our second dinner at CPH was at ILUKA and our general impression was that it lacks the value and overall packaging that Host (first dinner) offered. The menu was limited and out of the five dishes we ordered only the mackerel with peas and the whole fish had something distinctive to offer, the rest all somehow lacked a punch. The service was casual at best, but probably presented as a bigger challenge was the space was not well vented. It smelled as if you are sitting on the stove top - hot, stuffy, you skin/hiar/clothes catching the kitchen smell all around.

Great restaurant with some really innovative dishes at surprisingly decent prices. I really loved my experience here and I'll definitely be back.
The seafood tartare particularly was incredible!

Un poco de una decepción, especialmente dado el alto precio. La comida está cocinada con un alto nivel, las vieiras eran excelentes, pero otros platos carecían de sabor / finura / platos de acompañamiento. El vino nos pareció caro, pero la copa que pedimos era muy bueno. El ambiente era relajado y los alrededores eran agradables. El servicio era bueno (nuestra camarera Victoria era encantadora) aunque para mí el ambiente se estropeó solo por lo que sonaba como una radio de transistores barata tocando canciones pop de los 80 en la cocina. Si cobrar precios máximos todo tiene que reflejar esto.
Being ex-pro chefs, we stumbled upon this gem one night (May 3) while vacationing in Copenhagen. It was just around the corner from our hotel. Normally, reservations are required. On this rainy night, the gourmet gods must have guided us to ILUKA. Phenomenal!
The seafood tartare paired with the octopus and oyster cream was one of the best things we ever had.
Please understand that we are ex-pro chefs and have high expectations for not only great food but great service.
The sweet potato/squid dish and the langostinos were expertly prepared.
Vitoria was a fantastic server and went above and beyond. Chef, thank you for the great experience and great service!

Thank you very much for your walm welcome and the delicious meal! Shoutout to the homrmade bun and tartare - both exquisite. And many thanks to the chef for preparing everything for us quite late in the evening!

7-retters tastingmenu
Første 5 retter lækre og interessant sammensat. Hovedretten bestod af Rødspætte. Kødet var blødt og blævret og dermed uspiseligt. Sådan er kødet nemlig når fisken har gydt....hvilket den gør på denne tid af året. Ved henvendelse til kokken, virkede det ikke som om han forstod alvoren af den manglende kvalitet. Sød og beklagende tjener.
