This place serves great seafood with delicate taste. We didn’t take the tasting menu but chose ala carte instead since we weren’t big on desserts 👀

We took oysters 🦪 as starter (and desserts as well 🤣) the seafood tartare served with nori and fish roe, the soft shell crab 🦀, the sweet potato with squid 🦑 and the langoustine. Not seen in the pic is the second serving of oysters 😩 and the sourdough bread.

The price is rather high compared to the portion size but I guess seafood has always been costly here compared to - let’s say Marseille, my latest visit. But everything tastes good and service was top, so no complaints 💯🙌

Everything was absolutely superb. We ordered the 7 course menu plus the cold octopus and potato ala carte - The best seafood I’ve ever had - every dish was a beautiful burst of flavours and I couldn’t recommend it more!

We arrived without a reservation but the maître d' was nice enough to give us a table for an hour and half. The food was absolutely incredible and the staff was very friendly and attentive to all our needs, making sure your wine glasses were never empty for long. The soft shell crab as especially amazing, freshly caught that very same day! I HIGHLY recommend this place!

We had a dozen of oysters, soft shell crab, seafood tartare, and Danish snails. The waiters were very nice and helpful. Suggested that we pair food with a really fresh, crisp Chardonnay.
The food was amazing! I can absolutely, full heartedly recommend it.
An amazing experience overall. 🤍

Good food but a little heavy on things like powdered seaweed at times overwhelming the flavor of the fish itself.
Oysters were exceptionally good and the tomato consommé is reason enough to go.

La comida excelete, las mejores ostras que he comido, y he comido unas cuantas. Las cigalas exquisitas, y el.tartar delicioso. Para los platos Nos dejamos aconsejar por el Chef Mark y para el.vino por Chris... lo mejor que pudimos.hacer. Tiene una bodega sorprendente y vinos muy especiales.

This is not a fish N chips shop. So go with someone open minded about seafood ingredients and presentation. We tried it as sort of a tapas experience and ordered 3 seemingly less adventurous dishes. They were excellent to very good for my part, but only one was my partner willing to try. When the langoustine was described by one chef as having a sauce made of its brain I was confused. Langoustine have brains? But my partner was horrified, so that was out for her. Same for the crab - looked too much like a bug, so both went to lucky me and they had a lovely crab taste and a crisp crunch. The fennel and crab salad dish was enjoyed by both. The service was knowledgeable, amicable and attentive; 5 stars there. She loved the sourdough bread and butter -and her cocktail - so did not walk away completely unsatisfied.

Iluka was an amazing place to eat, and surprisingly good value for money, considering the quality of the food and service.
I sat at the bar and chatted with other diners and the waiter, the owner came over and said hello too. The whole place had such a good vibe. I would 1000% recommend this restaurant to everyone who visits Copenhagen.
I opted for the tasting menu and wasn't disappointed. Highlights were the langoustine and even the simple tomato broth was insanely good.
