Lovely ice cream parlor, cafe and shop in Frederiksværk, where the ice cream is made on site. Delicious fresh ice cream in many varieties including vegan and many specialties in the shop. Friendly and welcoming staff. Seating inside and outside.

05/08/2026: I highly recommend this place for gluten-free dining. Here, you're still personally served by the owner. The food was absolutely fantastic, very authentic, and you can tell how much passion goes into it. We'll definitely be back.

Here you meet the locals, get a chat for a chat, lots of laughs and good stories. It's a place where you quickly feel welcome. The Generalen has just celebrated its anniversary, and on that occasion you can taste the extremely tasty Refsvindinge Jubilæumsøl. My advice? Taste it before your neighbor does... 🍺😉
