Iscafeen Blokhus Jammerbugt

We ate there a few weeks ago, fair food at a fair price. We also ate there last year… Today, however, we were subjected to extremely poor service. As a North Jutland resident, I am outraged. There were 3 empty tables and we really wanted to eat there. At first we were told that it was not possible because “everything” was reserved. One table had a sign “reserved until 5:30 p.m.” but it was empty and it was 7:30 p.m. I was quick to leave, but an employee very politely offered us a table a little further back on the outdoor terrace, which we accepted. Then they say god help me at the end, when we have accepted - "it costs 250 kroner to get the table and we could risk having to sit with others if more guests come. I think it is tasteless to charge 250 kroner for a table that you have to share with other people - especially when there are 3 available and we were not informed about it from the start. We left, and we ate somewhere else - good food, good price, good sunshine and background music from Blokhus's beautiful square. I hope it didn't stick with you - it probably never will again :-( Hope you have a good season.
