It can be this wonderful and delicious.

I have eaten at many different restaurants over the past 16-17 years, especially places with barbecue, but I have never actually written a review before. This experience deserves a review, however. On 03-07-2026, I ordered food from here for the first time for myself and my family, as I did not have the energy to drive all the way to Nørrebro. I come from Hedehusene, so my expectations were honestly not sky-high. But I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised. The food was really tasty. The chicken, köfte and adana were all cooked really well and had lots of flavor. The portions were generous, there was a good amount of rice, and the bread stood out positively. It was not the dry and boring bread that you unfortunately often get in other places, but actually delicious and fresh. The service was also at a high level. The staff was welcoming, friendly and very service-minded. I especially noticed that they double-checked the bag to make sure everything was packed correctly. It may seem like a small thing, but it says a lot about their approach to customers. The experience was so good that I already went back on 05-07-2026 to pick up food again. That probably says a lot. Unfortunately, I can only give 5 stars because that is the maximum, but overall the place deserves more. Please continue to stick to the good quality and great service. If the level continues like this, it will be difficult to choose barbecue food elsewhere in the future. 10 out of 5 stars from here.

What an amazing find. 5 minute walk from Ishøj train station and about 15 minute walk from the Airbnb we stayed for our week's vacation. First visit was a takeout order after a long travel day. Knew we had picked a winner when we discovered it already pretty busy before 5PM. We ordered a pretty decent variety from their menu. I loved watching the smooth operation of the bustling kitchen while we waited, as well as the energy the, what I believed to be community's, guests brought to the restaurant. Told one of the staff that we would be back again before we even tried our first bite of food. Not at all surprised - the food was fantastic! Came back five days later for an in person meal. The six of us again had an amazing experience with delicious food all around. Highly recommend if you're looking for some yummy food, even if you're not staying in the Ishøj area. Oh, by the way, as an added bonus, very reasonably priced. Especially when compared to Copenhagen prices.

We visited the restaurant on a Friday night, and it was clear that the place is popular – it was full of people and the atmosphere was great. The food was tasty, and the portions were very large, so you definitely won't leave hungry. Unfortunately, the selection of gluten-free options was limited, which made it difficult for some in the party to find suitable dishes. The place was also quite warm, and the ventilation didn't seem to be quite adequate when the restaurant was full. All in all, good food, large portions and a popular place, but better ventilation and a larger gluten-free selection would have improved the experience significantly.

Ishøj Turkish Restaurant has exceptional food and excellent service. We had the opportunity to enjoy the Adana kebab and it was simply delicious. The meat was juicy and flavorful, and the vegetables were fresh.. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, and they went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. Overall, I would highly recommend Ishøj Turkish Restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Turkish experience with excellent food and service.

Always nice and fresh food. Very good place for family diner. Many different varieties of foods.

After the premises have been enlarged and renovated, the atmosphere is better, the kebab has always been top in the Copenhagen area

Chicken on grill was not spicy so my kid enjoyed it. Tasty food, polite and friendly staff. Thank you very much for dinner!
