Seldom eaten as well as here! Prices are already in the upper sector, but value for money is absolutely justified for Copenhagen! Gladly again

Very good 5 course meal, courtesy of Dining Week

The first review was deleted, so we'll just try again.. Got decor, but still clearly that it is a hotel resturant. Where people just need to finish their meal.. Ran the large menu with wine tasting, and the service was probably okay. But you always felt you were a bit in the way when you were a guest. And someone was silenced when the waiter wanted to say something. The food was not worth the money at all! Dry and indifferent pig, and over cooked beef... The salmon was good though.. Not a place I need to visit again.

Came here with my partner for dinning week. 350 dkk for 5 course menu. I had vegetarian and my bf meat option. Service was good, bet very long waiting time between meals. Although both, vegetarian and meat options cost the same, vegetarian menu eas very lacking in nutrition (basically just veggies, with no protein or healthy fats). Also resource expense wise meat option was better.

A wonderful restaurant at the hotel, which pleasantly surprised us with its high level of service and atmosphere. The dishes are presented beautifully and the taste is truly top notch. The menu is varied, there is something for everyone's taste. There is a convenient and clean restroom, which adds to the comfort. A great place for dinner or relaxation after a busy day. I recommend!

Unforgettable Experience at Issei! We recently had the pleasure of dining at Issei, both for a long omakase dinner and their special Christmas Dinner. From the moment we walked in, the warmth and hospitality of the staff were immediately apparent. The waiters and kitchen staff were very helpful and provided an excellent service. The food was amazing. Each dish was packed with flavor. The ambiance added to the overall experience with its cozy feel. True Hygge! The cocktails were very unique and an experience of their own. We are particularly thankful to the kind kitchen staff during the Christmas Dinner. The only wish we left with was for more space—not just physically, but gastronomically, as we wanted to savor even more of their delicious food! We totally recommend Issei for nice food and cozy atmosphere and location in the center of Copenhagen.

A bit of a mediocre experience. There were 2 of us for the evening menu. Ordered Omakase short. We asked not to get raw fish or raw meat, otherwise open to anything else. We got 4 servings: 1: Sncak - a small "cake"/soft biscuit made from i.a. immature bananas and two kinds of dip served as finger food. The cake/biscuit was 100% tasteless, the two dips were delicious. You had about 5-8 dips in the sauces, so if you are not into double dip, you are challenged - no problem for us :) 1/5. 2: Appetizer - normally you got tartar here. We got some mushrooms in a nice sauce with various sprinkles - it was really good, but not much - 5/5. 3: Main course: A small steak with a teaspoon of red spicy sauce. On a sharing plate, cold mashed potatoes with various toppings, e.g. salsa, crunchy onions and some herbs. Yes, the steak of approx. 100 g was nicely fried if you are on the red side, the mashed potatoes ok'ish. But there really wasn't much. 3/5. 4: Dessert: A small spoonful of passion fruit ice cream in something that tasted like condensed milk with nuts and almonds and a little other stuff. It tasted really good. 5/5 In addition, we got the menu's only non-alcoholic cocktail, water and a cappuccino. The bill was DKK 1,460 - the 1,200 was for the food and we were close to passing the hot dog van and we are both normal eaters ;) It wasn't the price, even with the 2 really good dishes - starter and dessert. If you want to try the restaurant, I recommend not choosing Omakase. Nothing was spared as far as I can judge - choose the dishes yourself - it looked more inspiring at the tables where they had chosen the dishes themselves.

Really nice experience with wonderful food and sweet service. The meat tasted amazing! So did the dessert! However, the salmon could have tasted better, and the wine menu was nothing special. The waiters were nice and good at telling us what we got along the way, although one of them had chewing gum in his mouth. But we had a definitely wonderful evening, highly recommended!
