Fantastic experience at Issei Copenhagen. From start to finish everything was exquisitely exquisite. When we entered the restaurant, we were immediately greeted by a bartender who asked us in and directed us further into the restaurant. At the restaurant we were immediately greeted and shown to our reserved table. There was control over who we were, where we should sit and what we should have during dinner - as we had pre-booked a table for two with a tasting menu incl. wine menu. The waiters were wonderful both in being professional, while being themselves with personality and humanity. Our waiter spoke English and a little Danish, from Italy and showed us how top class service is executed. Top class service where all the boxes are ticked - and here you can experience fine dining without being too fine. It all played like a beautiful piece of classical music. The food was wonderful, delicious with an Asian and Peruvian/South American twist. We would love to come again. The quality of the food is excellent and the idea of ​​merging Asia with South America is exciting. Flavor explosion right through to dessert! If you want something different, you've come to the right place! Nice service with good explanations of the dishes.

We did the Early Bird option. All was decent. We were expecting something very good and to be honest it was kind of a deception. Food is not bad, nor good. Just mid. Everything mid, apart from the price, which in my opinion is absurdly expensive.

We celebrated a small and quite spontaneous wedding at Issei and it was truly exceptional! I felt like I had made the right choice from the first mail I received from Issei. Everything was very well planned and Issei makes you feel very welcomed. The staff is very attentive, service-oriented and experienced. After a lovely reception we had the long omakase menu which I can highly recommend. The food was presented very professionally and the whole dining experience was outstanding. Every dish was very innovative and delicious, the different textures and flavours were combined together wonderfully. Therefore I cannot even tell what was my favourite dish. The staff made sure that everything was to our liking and cared for even the smallest detail. I especially want to thank Daniel. He worked on that evening - even though it was actually his day off- and he did a truly amazing job. Everything was organised and done so professionally. He even thought of details we hadn’t paid attention to while planning. The timing of everything was perfect and we were thrilled. All of the guests thanked me later for such a wonderful evening with memories they will cherish forever. I highly recommend Issei - especially when you want to celebrate a special event.

Issei is a fusion restaurant specializing in Nikkei cuisine therefore a mix between Peruvian and Japanese cuisine. It is located inside the spectacular Radisson Hotel and opposite the Tivoli Gardens so I'll just let you imagine the classy location with a magnificent view. Let's start with the service which was without a doubt impeccable. But what struck me most was the food and the flavor combinations. I tested the tasting menu and was literally amazed by the goodness of each course. High prices in line with the city of Copenhagen!

Good food but nothing to do with the regional food that it tries to represent and does not go hand in hand with the cost

Amazing fusion of taste, polite yet service they was reading my mind, tadte and preference. The waiter Suren is a rate person with talemt to listen, observe, enhance your experience, yet remain humle but proud of the work he does. All congratulations to Radisson royal to invite the Chef (one of the most wonderful meals and drinks I had recently!!!). Once agsin conratulations - a true star on Copenhagen’s gadtronomic sky. The wine menu was absolutely fantastic and perfectly matched to the dishes. The sommelier expertly guided us through a range of exquisite wines that beautifully complemented the complex flavors on the plate. The combination of wine and food was nothing short of sublime and lifted the entire dining experience to new heights. Service was top class, with attentive and knowledgeable waiters who were passionate about both the food and the wines. Their commitment and expertise contributed to a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere where we felt valued as guests. All in all, our evening at Restaurant Issei was an unforgettable experience. The Peruvian cuisine, combined with a fantastic wine menu and impeccable service, make this a place we can highly recommend to anyone looking for an exclusive and memorable dining experience. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

This restaurant was amazing. Was staying in at the hotel and decided to give it a try. The staff were all super nice and the food was 10/10. We were helped by Suren and he was great!
