Wonderful meal at this inspired Japanese- Peruvian fusion restaurant. We weren't sure what to expect but with the guidance of an attentive and knowledgeable wait staff (Jorge) we had a meal with a perfect balance of tastes, textures and portions for our needs. For some reason, as a Dane/western citizen, I never made the connection of the obvious transport across the ocean from Japan to Peru. However, ISSEI present you beautifully with an introduction to this very obviousness, whilst serving you incredible food from the Nikkei cuisine. Don’t miss out.

We've been to ISSEI several times, both in Copenhagen and Stockholm, and have always been very satisfied. The Japanese-Peruvian fusion cuisine is a culinary experience, and the hotel bar also offers fine cocktails and other drinks. The benches are very soft and the tables are a bit small, hence the deduction.

Wonderful food and service. I’ve been to several good restaurants in Copenhagen and this is the best one for sure!
