65 kr for a loaf of bread and you can’t get it halved or sliced. It’s great quality but paying that much I’d like a bit more service.

As a breakfeast for this morning, we decided to get down the street and buy some delicious pastries. The smell of baked goods fill the room once you enter. Juno is surely one of the best bakeries in Copenhagen.
We ordered a box of danish butter cookies, a cardamom bun, a pain au chocolat and a bun filled with whipped cream and apple jam. Cookies were a bit sweet, the pain au chocolat had a really flaky bun and the chocolate was perfectly balanced at around 70% of cacao. The cardamom bun was suprisingly good, as we would have never thought that cardamom, sugar and bread would pair so well. The inside was really moist and firm as the outside was nice and crunchy. Whipped cream was fresh, topped with a sweet bagel bun and diced apples and jam.
Waiters couldn't stop smiling which gave a good vibe, as they were pretty nice.
Overall, lovely bakery, terific pastries, although it is a bit overpriced, but still worth it. Totally recommend this place, and we will be back soon !!!

Juno the Bakery is renowned for baking the best cardamom bun in Copenhagen.
Expectations were high... and I was not disappointed.
What immediately strikes you is the delicate aroma of cardamom, balanced with the sweetness of the dough and the soft consistency of the leavened product.
If only I had arrived in time to taste it freshly baked... the experience would have been truly complete!

Their famous cinnamon danish was too hard even though their turnover is fast. I guess you will not be a fan if you want flaky and soft danish. Their cream stuffed donut was excellent with great apple pieces and cream with a cardimon aftertaste. Their filtered coffee was very good. They have limited outdoor seatings as they are undergoing renovations now.
An overall average experience for the queue.

I took their iconic cardamom bun to take away and I must say that it was really delicious: fragrant, soft and well-balanced in taste.
It's just a shame that the place was under renovation, so I wasn't able to enjoy it at the table with a cappuccino as I would have liked.
Being takeaway, the bun was slightly less hot, and in my opinion freshly baked it would have been even more special.
Definitely worth a try though – I'll happily return when they reopen!

The best bakery in Copenhagen by far. Cinnamon buns are amazing but also any other dessert is also very very tasty. Staff was very friendly, answered our questions with great attention. Would be the first bakery I would go again if I return to Copenhagen

I have to say it — this was probably the best breakfast of my life. Juno the Bakery is a well-known gem in Copenhagen, made even more popular thanks to social media buzz. Expectations were sky-high, but they were not just met — they were blown away.
The place itself is charming, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. We tried four pastries: the iconic cardamom bun, a fried bombolone with rhubarb and cream, a vanilla cream pastry, and the standout — the saffron cake. We were told it’s only available during Christmas and Easter, and it was absolutely astonishing. The saffron added a unique and beautiful depth of flavor, with real saffron pistils in the cake. Everything was perfectly balanced — not overly sweet or buttery — and the texture was just spot on.
Also, special mention to the apple juice — surprisingly incredible and a perfect pairing with the pastries.
Truly one of the best food experiences I’ve had. If you’re visiting Copenhagen, make sure you carve out time for Juno. It’s that good.

Non potevo non passare da qui.
Sono arrivato 15 minuti dopo l’apertura, ho trovato una coda molto scorrevole.
Il bancone è fornito ma se siete amanti di creme non è il posto giusto.
Ho assaggiato il loro Pan Suisse delizioso (secondo me c’era anche una crema al caramello oltre a crema e cioccolata) e il cardamon bun, il cardamomo presente ma non stanca, ben bilanciato. In entrambe non ho avvertito la pesantezza del burro.
Unica nota un po’ negativa: sulla parte caffetteria sono molto basici, oltre un caffè con un po’ di latte non possono fare altro.
Bella anche la parte dello shop, con biscotti danesi e altre delizie.
