21/06/2025: The cod with mussel sauce and peas was the dish I liked best the evening I dined here. Traditional appearance but the sauce had some subtle surprises. Very successful dish and it typifies the level of cooking here. The staff was very solicitous and gave me great wine pairings. Do note that service is "relaxed".
14/06/2025: Our dinner at LUN was a true revelation. We found it by chance and from the first moment we knew we had made the right choice.
The place was packed, with a vibrant atmosphere, great music, and a special energy that enveloped everything. Everything at LUN conveys warmth, care, and good taste, without resorting to artifice.
The staff was extraordinary: friendly, attentive, and genuinely interested in making the experience memorable. And the chef and owner—whose name I regret not remembering—was the icing on the cake: he was fluent in Spanish, a product of his time living in Spain. His friendliness, humor, and dedication left a warm impression on our evening.
Let's get to the nitty-gritty: the food, which was much more than just dinner... it was a complete gastronomic experience:
• We started with spectacular oysters. Fresh, flavorful, with that perfect balance of iodine and tenderness.
• Then came the tuna, prepared with care, letting the product speak for itself.
• The white asparagus was a real highlight. No exaggeration: the best I've ever tasted (and I've lived long enough to say that with conviction).
• The main course was lamb with carrots and eggplant. The texture of the lamb, the harmony with the vegetables, everything perfectly integrated.
• And to top it off, a delicate and refreshing sorbet, accompanied by a perfectly balanced daiquiri, with just the right acidity and sweetness to close the evening elegantly.
All this served in a thoughtful, relaxed setting, imbued with a love for cooking, respect for the diner, and the joy of sharing.
