Really cozy cafe with incredibly delicious food in generous portions. Lovely surroundings and very friendly and service-minded employees. I can definitely recommend a visit, and we will definitely come back 😊

Good food but the service could be a little better and faster, we waited a good half hour for our food.

With lovely food, it's a shame that about 10 tables around were NOT cleared, meaning that there were many plates with half-eaten and very unappetizing leftovers, glasses etc. were also left for a VERY long time, tables that were not wiped clean, even though it was a very quiet evening. It's not the first time I've experienced this sight🤔 it's otherwise been a very good place to eat but...

Great food and kind service! The staff is very friendly and so humble, they didn't even wanted to accept my dad's tip (gratuity). Highly recommended the lava cake from the dessert menu!

The food was messy and the wait was long due to the stressed staff. They were really busy

Absolutely fantastic service you get time and time again at hox, I don't know what's better, the service or the food! Because as stellar as the service is, the food and atmosphere are just as delicious! This is without a doubt the coziest and tastiest café there is! I look forward to coming back, Vh Carl Schmidt

Cafe Aarøgaard

27/09/2025: We were there with our 9-month-old daughter on the last day of the season. We received a very warm welcome. The host immediately offered us a suitable seat and provided a high chair and a children's drinking cup. The food (a burger with fries and breaded fish with fries) was delicious and beautifully presented. The side dishes, main course, and vegetables were very fresh, and we enjoyed it immensely. We would gladly come back.
