Happy New Year from Bowen Island, British Columbia! I had the good fortune to discover Kaffedepartementet in November and had the where with all to bring back a pound of delicious Brazilian coffee roasted on site. What a coffee, delicious every time, cool vibe, friendly, knowledgeable staff and amazing pastry. Nothing beats a warm Tebirkes stuffed with almond filling and a cup of Kaffedepartementet coffee. I became addicted and brought a pound home to share with my very, very good friends. I believe this to be the best coffee in Copenhagen and definitely worth the trip wherever you are.

Jeg synes helt sikkert det her er en af de bedst smagende kaffer i København! Ubetinget! Og en capuccino til 38,- synes jeg er fair. Det er ikke "Beverly Hills" priser ligesom de fleste andre steder. Barista'erne er pro på "latte art" fronten og så spiller de godt nok meget jazz musik - synes også godt de kunne spille noget R&B ind i mellem - bare som afveksling. Service fronten er rimeligt "average". Det er fedt man ka sidde at arbejde med laptop nemt og der er ikke over-crowded med mennesker. :-)
