Excellent local restaurant, fantastic. Eat herring in various variations until the tables are full, great Danish food and atmosphere, highly recommended.

Fantastic classic open-faced sandwiches, fair price, good selection of schnapps and great location next to the canal

This is a traditional Danish restaurant. However, the quantity of dishes and the names of the dishes on the French-translated version of the menu were ambiguous. We were given a choice of bread, but they made a mistake during preparation. As for the service, the waiter places all the dishes in the center of the table, and it's up to you to determine which dish you're serving. When there are eight of you at a table, this quickly becomes complicated. As for the price, I find it expensive for the quantity. Water is served in plastic bottles and comes at a charge. For groups planning to go, be careful because they can't split the bill among the group members. We were also charged an additional €5.63 for a bottle of water, which we didn't receive.

It's pretty, but the menu is confusing. When I read "leg of lamb," I expect a piece of leg of lamb, not six thin slices of charcuterie. Plus, we were charged for an extra bottle of water. That's a shame.

Very good experience overall: food is amazing and the place is authentic. Would definitely recommend for smørrebrød.

Genuinely one of the better places to eat at. Offers authentic Danish food that was VERY tasty. 2 smørbrød are more than enough per person since you get served a mountain of food on some bread. It also doesn't cost all that much. Around 100 per smørbrød and you are good for a while. Atmosphere inside is quite lovely as well. Highly recommend but you do need a reservation.

Siamo andati qui per il pranzo del mio compleanno, il 5 giugno. Il posto era davvero elegante sia come si presentava la struttura e sia dentro tutto molto ben curato. Noi abbiamo ordinato:"Il Piatto" che è una combo con tutti i piatti tipici danesi : dalle aringhe, al roastbeff, alla loro tipica insalata di pollo e tanto altro. Devo dire che è stato molto buono! Ho apprezzato particolarmente le aringhe 🤩
