that was my first time with them, and enjoyed every single minute of it. from the first moment till last, staff will try to make you happy in every way possible! top service, top quality food, probably the best one in the town!

We were a party of 14 people/company Christmas lunch. I had been looking forward to a lovely experience, but was quite disappointed. The food itself was nice enough, but serving hot starters before we had drinks is not okay, and that was the case with all four courses. The next three hot courses were served without everyone sitting at the table, otherwise it would have been easy enough to advise that the next course would be coming in, for example, 5 minutes so that everyone could gather at the table.

2 words. Fantastic evening! My girlfriend and I had our anniversary, and had been looking forward to a lovely evening with delicious food, at Karikatur. I can only say that it exceeded all expectations. We were greeted by smiling staff, were shown to our table, and there was food on the table almost immediately after we had ordered it. We were really impressed both by the incredibly delicious, flavorful and beautifully presented food, but also by the good guest management. The service was top notch and the food was undoubtedly really good too! Would definitely recommend Karikatur, we left with a big smile on our face, and can only look back on our important evening with good memories, thanks to Karikatur and their staff! Thank you so much for a fantastic evening! We look forward to coming back😇

A really cozy restaurant with a good atmosphere. We ate the fish of the day, Turbot, and it was so nicely and deliciously prepared, truly an experience for the taste buds. The service was smiling and welcoming and introduced the food so nicely. It is definitely recommended and we will come again another time when we are in Sønderborg 💖

Food was alright. Fine dining more like (not to be ravenous). Amazing friendly and helpful staff.

Had booked a table for a birthday for 6 people for lunch (back in August). Had high expectations as I had previously heard good things about the place (maybe before the move and new owners). Unfortunately, expectations were not met. The sandwiches were very small for the price and we were not full. We waited a very long time for the food and were told that the chef was alone in the kitchen. Despite this, most of it tasted ok, but generally lacked flavour and finesse and the potatoes were not raw, but very al dente. The fries were probably the best. The atmosphere was cozy despite the many wasps, but we could have asked to be moved inside. When paying, the most experienced waiter had enough sense to see that our experience was not entirely good, so she knocked out many of the drinks, so we mainly paid for the food. Other restaurants could learn from that action, so points for that.

Really nice place, with a view of the harbor. Lovely lunch with fresh, Danish ingredients.

Had high expectations based on previous visits. Service is lacking in training/knowledge. Food experience was below average. If you just want something to eat, Karikat is a mediocre restaurant. The restaurant is not recommended.
