The bakery is a “grab and go” kind of place. But is totally worth it. The cardamom buns are so nice and fresh, as well as the other kinds of pastries.

Absolutely my favorite bakery, amazing quality and the rolls and bread are at at the same level as the kringle and other pastry. Great mood from the staff, even when the queue stretches around the corner.

I had both of the fastelavnsboller this place has to offer, the old-fashioned and Kringle. The first one tasted really good, but the second one was absolutely delicious; I wanted a second bite while savoring the first. I highly, highly recommend Kringle.

Absolutely mind blowing!
One of the best bakeries I have ever tried. Everything I had was outstanding, but the cardamom bun and Yule bun were my favorites. Their seeded bun and Rugbrød are also fantastic.
If you visit one bakery in Copenhagen this should be it. My one regret is that they don’t have a cookbook I can buy to try to recreate some of their baked good perfection at home.

Loved the place, and it was probably my favourite bakery in Copenhagen. The rye bread and seeded buns were IMHO better than in HART, pastries were lovely (julenbrot was a Christmas delight, and cardamom/cinnamon buns were as good as anywhere else). The coffee was above average, too (although for full experience, coffee collective is close).
Two things that annoyed me were that _some_ of the staff were merely pleasant instead of exceptionally welcoming, and they had no chocolate for the buns.

Never had Brunsviger until then and it was a game changer- no a life changer. Went to this bakery 3 times in 3 days as we were at nearby Ottilia, so tried all the pastries and they’re all fab. Lovely coffee too, and the fire pit and christmassy vibe was lovely on a Sunday. Will return. Will learn how to make decent pastry too….

A bakery with a big laboratory. Very distinct identity. I like their brand, and their products match up well.
The Brunsviger was amazing, a delight for those with a sweet tooth: caramel and coffee perfectly blended in this flat pastry that is soft at the top and crispy underneath due to the caramel glaze.
The Cinnamon Bun was okay, it also contains cardamom, which - however - might not be everyone's cup of tea.
Overall, I recommend dropping by for the Brunsviger, but for other products, unless you happen to be nearby, you might find better options elsewhere in the city.
