Kebabistan lasts and is fresh and delicious, but it is selfish "just" a kebab place but worth all the money and very much a proper kebab place. Try it 🥙🥙🥙🥙🥙
Truly an underwhelming experience, the meat was cold, the bread was dry, the vegetables were bland and didn't feel fresh. When you are on Nørrebrogade anyway, there are many better alternatives in the local area.
Kebabistan is hands down the best kebab spot in Copenhagen. No exaggeration. I’ve been coming here for years and it never misses. The meat is always juicy and perfectly grilled, the bread is warm and soft, and the sauces—especially the chili and garlic—are on another level. Everything tastes fresh, every single time.
I’ve had kebab in a lot of places—Berlin, Istanbul, Amman—and this place still stands out. It’s that good. The guys working there are fast, friendly, and know what they’re doing. No nonsense, just proper food done right.
Whether you’re grabbing something late at night or just craving something solid during the day, Kebabistan never disappoints. I genuinely can’t recommend it enough. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would.
I can only speak for the falafel, which is clearly a frozen which doesn’t appear to be homemade . I’ve had it multiple times, and it hasn’t changed over the years. The bread didn’t impress me either. Overall, it’s just an average dürum that I find overpriced.
As a Judy who is used to far too many slave versions of pita and kebab.
This is highly recommended, the lamb was right in the cupboard, the pickled red cabbage was crispy and all in all a good meal.
Only complaint was that when you finish you want one more... Next time I'm here it will be a place I will return to.
