Keramikcafé Møllehuset Hjørring

The Møllehuset ceramics café is undoubtedly a beautiful and unique place – perhaps our expectations were simply a bit too high due to the many overwhelmingly positive reviews. The ambiance is charming, the cakes and coffee were good, and it's generally a pleasant place to linger. Unfortunately, we were less impressed with the service: the staff seemed clearly stressed and at times bordering on rudeness. Especially in a café that thrives on its special atmosphere, this detracts significantly from the experience. We also remain ambivalent about the value for money. It was good, no question – but for the prices charged, we expected a bit more overall. It's a lovely place worth visiting, but after our experience, I'm hesitant to give it an unqualified recommendation.

A lovely café with delicious cakes and other specialties, and good coffee. We can't comment on brunch or afternoon tea, but our impressions from today's visit suggest they are also very good. The service was friendly and attentive; the only slight drawback was the wait (coffee and one cake were brought, but then we had to wait even longer for the remaining three cakes/waffles, which I always find a bit annoying). The prices are quite high by German standards, but the quality is excellent, and the portion sizes are perfectly adequate. Definitely recommended if you're ever in the area.

A very cozy little café with homemade cakes, brownies, waffles, and other treats. You can also buy ceramics and handmade felt products. A snug place to relax after a trip to the sand dunes.

One of the very few proper cafés in the Lønstrup area. The homemade cakes are delicious and best enjoyed in the beautiful garden setting. The team is incredibly friendly, and the coffee is excellent. Definitely a place you’ll want to come back to.

A hidden gem! Important: You can make a reservation. (Otherwise, it might be full.) Alternatively, you can order to-go. Very high quality! Delicious cinnamon rolls and cookies, and the food looked amazing on the tables. The bread looked fantastic too! It's worth the higher price compared to other places.
