A wonderful seafood platter and chilled white wine in beautiful surroundings and super sweet service, I'll be back 🤩🇩🇰

My husband and I were looking for a place to sit down and have a nice dinner inside Tivoli and were drawn to the beauty of this place. The entire feel, both inside and out, is very elegant and classy. My husband ordered the Danish oysters with raspberry vinegarette, and I got the Dill marinated salmon with Dill mustard sauce, capers, and brussel sprouts. There was also fresh bread for the table, which was served nice and warm. The oysters were plump and tender, and the salmon dish was served chilled with a refreshing combination of flavors and textures. Though service was a little slow, our server was friendly and helpful and gave us a wonderful suggestion for wine. Kilden is an upscale option for the gardens, providing the perfect intimate setting to round out your visit.

Came here for a Christmas Dinner with my work colleagues. Great food and good quality ambience. Spacious seating too. Would recommend.

This one is difficult. In short, the place, ambience and service were all FANTASTIC, the food however wasn’t. In more words: My girlfriend is a smoker and salt her food way more than me, and even for her the cod was so overly salted that it completely dominated the taste, to the point where the otherwise expertly cooked and delicate fish all but disappeared in salt. She did not feel like finishing the meal. I hesitate to mention my own meal since it was good (if also somewhat over salted) but there was so much radicchio that the bitterness overtook the entire meal. Now, radicchio IS bitter, so I could have anticipated it, but I think the dish had been better served with significantly less of it, and more of the beetroot for example. It was simply way too much of the volume, for me. The bread was a wonderful freshly baked sourdough loaf, absolutely perfect. It was during a Halloween event and was served with pumpkin spice butter which.. was less of a hit. Your mileage may vary. The quince desert was nice and well presented. No minds blown, but I had no major complaints. The quince itself was absolutely delicious, the rest of it was fine - would have liked more focus on the quince, and less on the rest, but it was ok. All in all, the food was clearly expertly prepared, served and the staff were all fast, super friendly, and readily available. We were very surprised with how fast the food itself was ready too. The place itself is a wonderful little slice of peace and greenery, in a hectic amusement park… but I do wonder about the chef that composed the meals, and perhaps decided salt levels. I don’t question their skill at all, but I do question their choice in balances. Every dish we were served was unbalanced in some way, and that’s not a complaint I commonly have.

We got 5 dishes but they were not convincing. We had foreign guests and wanted to show them real Nordic food, and a few of the dishes were top notch, but there were also a few dishes that were mediocre. We were almost the only ones in the restaurant and the first to try their "halloween" menu. The wines were on the same level, from really good to a sour Danish wine that didn't go well with the dish. There is room for improvement in Tivoli, we expect top class, they did not achieve that that evening.
