Really good beef rendang and chicken satay!

we decided to try this restaurant for dinner during our visit in Copenhagen as we are msian living in Norway who are always looking out for malay/indonesian food whenever we travel in Europe. We absolutely love everything we ordered here, the food is so delicious! We had iga bakar, gado gado and soft shell crab. Definitely will come back here again ♥️

Delicious food, well seasoned and prepared, very friendly service, cozy ambience

The food was great. But I have never been to a restaurant with so heavy and polluted air. Hopefully it is better in the summer when they can leave the door open to air out, but when we visited it was almost unbearable to endure the very heavy air. I have no doubt they violated work safety regulations and gave both their employees and guests a full years worth of air pollution in a few hours. Visit in the summer when you can eat outside or when they can air out the restaurant.

I booked this place for a birthday dinner on a Monday, hoping it'd be rather unbusy/lowkey. The wait was over 1 hour for our food to arrive. The food tasted fantastic and was jam-packed with flavor, but also not very authentic Indonesian spices. I went here 1 year prior, and the dishes were 2x larger and 20% cheaper. Now 1 dinner serving has been halved and the nasi gorang wasn't enough for me or my guests so we had to order entrées. Ontop of it, no cake or candle was presented, even after it was requested. The atmosphere is beautiful, even if the greenery is mainly fake. I dont think i will be attending again.

Restaurant is a gem! Everything we tried tasted deliciously. Forgot the names of the dishes but the beef stew only had a but kore fatty meat. The portions are rich and big, good also for sharing to taste couple of nice dishes from the menu.

Nice with the Indonesian cuisine. Try the Beef Rendang, the oxtails or Ribs. fantastically flavorful.

Love the atmosphere here. All the dishes are so delicious and authentic. Lucky we stay in the area.

Coming from a city with an abundancy of Indonesian restaurants, Kini Kini is a nice find after four years in Copenhagen. Food came quite fast after we ordered. Asking and paying for the bill afterwards took a lot more effort. And I didn't quite understand why they were playing hit songs on a relatively high volume. Other than that, a good experience. They do an interesting, sweet variation of rendang and their beer selection is on point.
