The place was really cozy and the food was delicious. It was the best meat I have ever eaten, I chose the Meat Explorer where you got Japanese a4 wagyu, tenderloin from Uruguay and ribeye from Uruguay too. The meat was fantastic and the experience was perfect. We finished with oak lava cake for dessert and it was like the icing on the cake.

Definitely the right place to enjoy good quality food with excellent service from the staffs. We ordered the Garlic Scampi (for starter), and the 250g Ribeye and the 200g Tenderloin, both medium-rare, for our main course plus 2 sides (broccoli and shiitake mushrooms). Scampi Garlic: delicious. Broccoli: normal Shiitake mushrooms: Yummy and highly recommended. The steaks: so tender and expertly grilled. You get that wonderful grilled fat flavour with the Ribeye; whereas the Tenderloin was like butter in my mouth. Excellent. We also had a bottle of the house' red wine (Italy) and it went perfectly with the meal. Overall, very satisfied with our meal and the friendly knowledgeable service from the staff.

We had dinner at KÖD Copenhagen, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and intimate — dim lighting, cozy seating down in the cellar, and a calm buzz of conversation that made it feel relaxed yet refined. I ordered the striploin steak with fries, Caesar salad, bearnaise sauce, and bread — everything was spot on. The steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor, while the fries were crisp and golden. The Caesar salad added a fresh balance, and the bearnaise was smooth, rich, and perfectly seasoned. Service was friendly and professional without being intrusive, and the pacing of the meal felt just right. It’s the kind of place where you can truly unwind and enjoy quality food in a beautiful setting. We’ll definitely be back — highly recommended for anyone who loves a proper steakhouse experience in Copenhagen.

29/12/2025: Beautiful restaurant right near our hotel. Food was lovely, large meals. We all felt nourished afterwards. The poor waitress was run off her feet servicing all the tables alone but she did an amazing job catering to everyone. I would highly recommend you stop by here for a meal when in town.
29/11/2025: Fantastic food but had to wait 45 minutes. Waited for the waiter for 5 minutes for the food and then it came, the next table had to wait an hour, they did get a free round of drinks.

29/12/2025: We had Sunday Roast with 3 servings of meat which was of very warming quality. Oh my! The side dishes were absolutely fine. Our waiter was incredibly unengaged, spoke so softly that she was a shadow of herself and almost impossible to get in touch with. After previous visits we had really looked forward to Sunday Roast with meat ad libitum, but oh my they couldn't live up to that.
18/12/2025: It was rather busy for a Wednesday evening but it is the Xmas season, so that explains that. I think we unfortunately received under their own standard service. I’ve dined here numerous times and the service is usually much better, the food as well. We had some starters and entrees with wine, drinks and a beer. As mentioned above, we have both dined here before, where the food was much better. Köd usually serves bread with some kind of whipped butter right after you receive your drinks. I guess they forgot us because after seeing others receive it, we asked, they came several minutes later. I guess they felt it was urgent to put utensils on a empty table and take bread to several other tables before finally bringing some to us. Then max 30 seconds later the appetizers came right on top of the bread we just received. When ordering a glass of wine for the steaks, my friend asked for several different specific types but ended up going for beer because it wasn’t possible by the glass. Kinda weird considering wine goes with steak and they can’t always expect people to guy a whole bottle. The tacos were really good, the highlight of the food. The avocado tuna was just okay. The steaks also just okay. The tenderloin a little on the smaller side. Sides came several minutes after the steaks. Unlucky for us and for them. The plus, good tacos, nice enough atmosphere, clean bathroom, though they need to change the toilet seat to match the toilet. This type of restaurant it shouldn’t look like this. The negative bad service and subpar steaks. Will I come back. It won’t be my first choice but I would probably give it a chance.
