Kokkedal Castle is an impressive destination that combines historical charm with modern luxury. The castle is beautifully surrounded by nature, and the picturesque view of the landscape creates a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The elegant rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated, giving a feeling of exclusivity. The on-site restaurant offers delicious food with a focus on seasonal produce, and the flavors are of high quality. The service is generally friendly and professional, although there can sometimes be a wait in the restaurant. Facilities such as spa and pool are a big plus and contribute to a relaxing experience, perfect for a weekend getaway. The only slight drawback is that parts of the castle are showing signs of age and could use an update. All in all, Kokkedal Castle is a wonderful place to visit if you are looking for a luxurious experience in historical surroundings.

We had cycled all day and have some dietary restrictions. Jesper the chef, didn’t bat an eyelid and with no notice rustled to two vegan meals and made some gluten free bread. Elma the receptionist and waitress was wonderful and helpful finding a place for bikes. Fantastic and friendly customer service. And very tasty food both for dinner and a good breakfast as well as a wonderful location.

Being put back in time with slightly decadent settings that only clergy and royalty were allowed to feel good for body and soul. We could live with the fact that sanitary maintenance was less of a priority than catering. The kitchen was fantastic and had a new and simple but exciting menu every day with good prices. The wine menu was not to be despised either. The fact that, at the end of a nice long weekend, we got to experience a MC rally taking in the castle with many hundreds of bikes put everything into perspective.

This gem should be experienced by everyone. I have now had the pleasure of staying there twice, both times I have experienced super service and the nicest staff. They have delicious food, fresh ingredients, and at reasonable prices. The castles are set up with respect for history and when you enter it is like walking straight into a fairy tale, the tranquility around the castle, looking at the water, and meadows as far as the eye can see, it is the balm for the mind that I wish everyone could experience.

Romantic and historic gem. Really cozy. Naturally a bit worn and crooked in places, as it is a castle with 500-700 years behind it, but really cosy. Good service, delicious breakfast, nice beds and idyllic surroundings.

Kokkedal Castle in Brovst is a beautiful place with good food and fine rooms. The bathroom was clean, but the grout and the shower could use a more thorough cleaning. All in all a lovely experience.

A fine old castle, nice living rooms and the rooms were nice and clean, the staff were super, smiling, service minded and incredibly helpful, brought a walker and the staff took care of it, got the room where there weren't that many stairs up. The food was nice, but we didn't get a visit or hear from any of the previous owners :)
