Kokkedal Slot Jammerbugt

We had a lovely weekend at Kokkedal Castle - I would especially like to highlight the woman who welcomed us at the reception and was our waiter. The service was top class! And our 5-course menu with a delicious wine menu was also really good! And the castle is located in a beautiful area. Unfortunately, the place just needs a little bit of a loving hand. It was a bit dirty and some of the place seemed to be a bit dilapidated - paint was peeling off and shower cubicles had seen better days. But all in all a good experience :)

We went on December 5, 2025 And we had the most wonderful stay😀🥰. The whole castle was beautifully decorated and the staff were really nice and great service. The next day we had a delicious breakfast😀. We look forward to coming again.

Was up for a communal meal so can't say anything about the rooms but the food was great. However the cake with the coffee could have been freshly baked or just lukewarm

Cozy stay in a historic place..."four-poster bed with mirror in.."...delicious food and good service.and the price was absolutely acceptable...

Big contrast between the castle itself and the service/food But you don't really get the feeling that it's a castle stay because the food was unfortunately so lacking. The staff was polite enough, but our first experience with the staff when we were checking in wasn't really helpful or understandable that we had some challenges finding what he was looking for.
