La Fontaine København

Went to live jazz on Sunday. I was a little late and therefore stood in a queue, it would take a while. Went to another bar first and came back at 11pm (no line). The music and atmosphere was fantastic! Debit cards just didn't work, so make sure you have cash. So either come very early, or later so that you don't have to wait.

Real authentic Jazz Bar. The vibes are great, dimmed red lights, very cozy but also extremly packed! Thats also why it‘s super hot in there. Arrive early if you want a place to sit, otherwise it‘s standing in the back until someone leaves. Jazz was great althought it costst 120dkk entry on friday night.

In this establishment, the interior is designed for listening to music, but not for convenience. The big minus is that the place is small and you have to arrive early, which makes it difficult to enter. There is also a queue near the bar counter. The choice of food is only chips and nuts. There is little space to sit and it is very crowded. Half of the people are standing. There is also a smoking room, but the downside is that to get to the bar and to this room you have to pass crowds of people and sometimes even walk through the stage. But the atmosphere This place is very cozy but a little noisy, so it’s a solid 3!

One off - if not the oldest- jazz bars in Copenhagen. Always high quality bands and great vibe. Come 1 before to secure seat. A fun evening out.

One of the best places I've ever visited! I went for the "Love La Fontaine", the opening of the season, and it was absolutely incredible. Highly recommended

Came here on a Monday night around 12am for the last night of the jazz festival. We had to queue for a while (didn’t get in until 1am) but it was well worth the wait. Saw some reviews about the smoke room being an issue but it wasn’t at all and I stood right next to it, it added a subtle aroma to the room which was quite nice. It was an amazing show and an amazing evening. If you’re in Copenhagen this is something you have to visit, make sure there is a show going on that night (check online) before you visit tho otherwise it’ll just be a bar and no performance.

Great jazz during the Copenhagen jazz fest. Crowded but great lovers of jazz for sure. They charge for water (10 DKK) but the ambiance and vibe makes up for it
