L’ancora Halsnæs

If you miss Nonna's cooking and you're in the northwest of Zealand - visit L'ancora ⚓️ in Liseleje, excellent Italian food and wine, made with that special touch only dedicated chefs can arrange. This is really where you want to drop anchor for a couple of hours if you love Italian food! By the way ... don't judge the book by its cover!

A half empty restaurant and yet one waiter managed to create so much confusion that everyone made mistakes. The pizza was undercooked which I attributed to the fact that everything had to go quickly, quickly, calme calme…

Spectacular and authentic Italian experience in Denmark. The best spritz in town (maybe even better than most found in Copenhagen), and stellar service. The space is beautiful with hand painted frescos covering the interior, and charming multicolored windows. Perfect spot for delicious dinner either with your family or on a date night.

As a person, you are not satisfied with any of the things you have visited and paid for.

We came on a Sunday during the summer holiday period. The staff is extremely friendly and hospitable. There is a really nice atmosphere and the surroundings are also nice. There were a lot of people and they were very busy, which they took with a smile and friendly comments. That is why "only" 4 stars have been given for service. It is of course not their fault that the house is full and they did what they could, but you waited a little long for food and drinks. 4 stars for the food which was extremely delicious, but they were missing dishes that were on the menu. Despite a really nice experience and we will definitely come again 🤗 maybe we can taste the missing dish 😉

Nice pizzas in a very nice beach town

Very good food at a nice price! There was some chaos today, so it took fifteen minutes before we got our food, but the staff handled it impressively well.

You don't have to go to Italy to experience authentic Italian atmosphere. You'll find it here! - And the food - top notch. The menu could use some tightening up in terms of language. We'll definitely be back.
