We had ordered a dish. We didn't know that fries weren't included, but they were on the plate. When we got the bill they cost 45 kr extra per person. That's how you increase turnover and we had eaten them. Also, it's a bit bad that they don't accept regular Dankort, but only foreign cards. And we are in Denmark after all!

My partner and I came for dinner one evening after our ferry trip from Norway. The waitress was absolutely exceptional! She was lovely, smiling, and helpful—truly perfect! The atmosphere was very peaceful, with a magnificent terrace overlooking the sea. The meal was delicious, with fresh, beautifully presented ingredients. We highly recommend this restaurant.

To celebrate our first wedding anniversary, we booked a table at the restaurant. This section is separate from the café. The waitress was very friendly and offered her assistance, as she currently only had Danish menus. She was always helpful and friendly throughout. The food was absolutely delicious, and the prices were reasonable for the portion size. We also had a wonderful view of the water and the harbor. Absolutely dreamy! <3 The restrooms were clean and tidy, and a big plus was that they provided cloth towels instead of paper ones. We'd love to come back again.

20/07/2026: It's exactly as it should be. Great service. Tasty food. Good price. I chose fish & chips. The wife was a shooting star. Yum.
18/07/2026: Tasty Fish&Chips with plenty of fish and now also with delicious salad. - Highly recommend trying take-away from Karlsson's.

15/06/2026: Fantastic restaurant. You'd be hard pressed to find a more beautiful location. 50 m from the North Sea/West Sea with panoramic views from all over the restaurant. Really good service and fantastic dishes.
09/05/2026: Ordering 4 x the large menu. The good thing is clearly the location and what a view you can get from being there. It is nice and beautiful inside and nice to see the sunset. The service is also just top notch and super nice staff with smiles, humor and yes, it played I don't understand in any way that they have a Michelin star. Super many nice dishes that are actually tasted fine, but I almost want to be nice and just write that at least 50% of the dishes are almost indifferent. It's not new, it's not an explosion of taste in the mouth. Most dishes were very oily and some combinations were almost unpleasant in the mouth. It's always a matter of taste, but for 1500kr per person ONLY for the food, in my opinion it should play MAX, and unfortunately it just doesn't. I think they live on the fact that there is no good food in Lønstrup, and that's what can make them stay afloat. The price set for what you got for the money was completely off, unfortunately - try it yourself if you feel like throwing a good fight after a "maybe" good experience.
