The service is very good and friendly and the food is really amazing. The best steak i had in a long time

Visited Louisekroen with my family, a group ranging from 20 to 80 years old and we all could agree: this is the best steak we have ever eaten. The mørbrad was unbelievably tender and cooked to perfection – so outstanding that we couldn’t stop talking about it for our entire trip around Bornholm! We also tried the rhubarb dessert, which was delightful. But what truly makes Louisekroen shine is more than just the food. Their dedication and passion for quality meat and animal welfare, combined with a staff whose warmth, friendliness, and commitment to exquisite service truly shine through, creates an unforgettable atmosphere throughout the restaurant. We simply cannot praise this restaurant enough and will come back to Bornholm just to visit again. Thank you, Louisekroen, for a truly magical dining experience!

Steak, steak, steak! It's basically the options, and it's nice when someone dares to make a choice instead of trying to make everything and try to catch all the customers. How was the steak? It's good. It's undoubtedly really good meat. It's a bit of a shame, though, that they serve the steak on such a hot plate that my meat went from "rare" to "well done" before I could eat it. Ordinary hot plates would have been just fine. I would have liked to have been able to get a little glace or other sauce. I understand the argument about not wanting to take away the taste of meat, but it rings a bit hollow when you offer a dollop of garlic butter on top of the steak. Regarding side orders and appetizers, you have to say again that you should come for the steaks, because the rest of the menu is pretty ordinary. The atmosphere is great, and even though they clearly forgot our main courses, it didn't matter as we felt very welcome and had a great time. The kids were able to run around and play in the garden while waiting for dessert, and the staff was exceptionally nice and welcoming to them! So I would definitely come again, but next time I'll eat the steak on a side plate ;)
