A lovely café that I would definitely visit again. The breakfast selection is cleverly organized. You can choose between 3, 5, or 7 items, and they serve tapas-like portions. Everything tasted excellent. If there are two of you, you can put together a nice selection and try a little of everything.

What a fantastic breakfast experience! During our Copenhagen trip, we visited Mad & Kaffe in Frederiksberg with the whole family and were absolutely thrilled. The concept is simply brilliant: You mark off the dishes you want on a small menu – there are 3, 5, or 7 small plates to choose from in different categories. This way, everyone can create their own individual breakfast, and you automatically try much more than you would normally order. The quality truly impressed us: Everything arrived fresh and beautifully presented, from the avocado and eggs to the sweet items – each little plate was a highlight in itself. The coffee was also excellent. The concept is perfect, especially with children, because everyone gets exactly what they want, and the small portions are ideal for sharing and trying different things. The restaurant itself has a really pleasant, relaxed atmosphere – modern yet cozy, with that typical Danish hygge feeling. Despite the restaurant being full, the service was friendly, quick, and totally uncomplicated, even with the kids. The service was friendly, quick, and totally uncomplicated, even with the kids. One tip: Arrive early or be prepared for a bit of a wait, as this place is popular for good reason. For us, it was the best breakfast of our entire stay in Copenhagen – when we're back in the city, Mad & Kaffe will be at the top of our list. Highly recommended! We got 3 items each person and that’s enough for us. Food is amazing, and their coffee and juice are super fresh.

Mad & Kaffe was one of my favorite brunch spots.. everything I tried was delicious. You have to order the Honey Spice Chicken Nugget and the avocado; both were amazing. The individual dishes are quite small, so I’d recommend choosing more than three if you have a good appetite. Also, try to come early because it gets really busy.

Great place for brunch, lunch, and dinner - or even if you just would like a cup of coffee or matcha!

i enjoyed pretty much everything that I was served, the concept they have is pretty great too, definitely would say the prices are more on the expensive side if you’re not from here but i guess you are expecting these princes when you go out to eat here in cph, the servers were really sympathetic and nice too!

We were there for brunch for our daughter's birthday and even though there were 3 of us we got a larger table and the staff was kind enough to come and ask if everything was good.

I came here for the matcha, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The matcha was smooth, well balanced, and very enjoyable. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service, making the whole experience even better. Overall, it was a lovely place to relax, and I’m looking forward to coming back next time to try some of the food as well.
