Excellent food. Cooked with love and served like a work of art. Update: One year later and it was again an absolutely delicious food experiance. This restaurant should be on everyones bucket list! Again a couple of month later and still unbelivable delicious. This time with uploaded picture of my meal.

We had a fantastic, authentic dining experience. Extremely tasty food, and super nice service. We had high expectations due to the good reviews, and they were even exceeded. We will be back!

Incredible food! As a Turkish person who is in love with the Middle Eastern food, I’m amazed with the authenticity of this restaurant. The food is absolutely amazing, perfectly seasoned, great portion size, and they offer a great variety. The syrian kebab was my favourite, and if you like your food spicy make sure to ask for a hot dip.

Mad Magi is our favourite oriental restaurant in Jylland! We had the best experience here! Everything looks and tastes authentic and you feel like you enter a place from the tales of 1001 nights when you go towards the restaurant. The prices are very fair - especially when you look at the large portions. We sat outside on the terrace but there is also a lot of room inside. The staff are super friendly and you can tell that they love what they do!

The apple cheesecake was a perfect balance of creamy and fruity, while the brownie—served warm with a scoop of ice cream—was pure comfort on a plate. And of course, we couldn’t resist rounding it all off with a classic Irish coffee. Rich, smooth, and just the right kick. What really sets this place apart, though, is the atmosphere. They’ve recently renovated and opened up the old basement as a dining area. It’s been done with such care and respect for the building’s history—vaulted ceilings, rustic textures, and a timeless coziness that makes you want to linger. It’s like stepping into a little piece of Viborg’s past, with all the warmth of modern hospitality. Highly recommend for anyone craving a sweet pause in beautiful surroundings
