I have now been to MAKU +10 times, and I have not once experienced any food that is not made to perfection. The prices are reasonable, and you get a lot for your money. Always good customer service.

Nice burgers with good quality of meat but the service a bit slow specially when not crowded

I simply have to share my experience at Maku restaurant in Asserbo – this place is in a whole other league. The burgers are absolutely insane. Juicy, flavorful and made with clear love for detail. The fries are crispy and perfect, and the dip is the icing on the cake. It all came as one menu for one price – and I was honestly shocked at how cheap it was. Seriously: I could have easily paid double and still felt like I got an insane amount of value for my money. But it doesn’t stop there – the menu also offers a large selection of luxury steaks, fresh oysters, delicious drinks, good wines and really inviting desserts. There’s something for everyone, and the quality seems to be top-notch all the way around. The atmosphere in the restaurant is super cozy and relaxed. You feel welcome right away, and the staff are sweet, smiling and extremely service-minded. It really makes a difference to the whole experience. I also noticed that part of the restaurant can be opened up and there are heat lamps – so it must be a great place in the summer. But it works just as well in the winter, so it is definitely a place you can visit year-round. All in all: I would drive an hour to eat here – without hesitation. It beats many restaurants in the Copenhagen area, and at maybe a quarter of the price. Huge recommendation from here 🔥🍔🍷

The meat was very good, well cooked and full of flavor. It’s not my absolute favorite, but the quality is definitely there and you can tell they use good ingredients. Overall a solid experience and a good option if you enjoy meat-focused dishes.

We had the pleasure of trying Makus Christmas special: the Duck burger. The duck burger was a real surprise and a breath of fresh air in the burger world. The meat was juicy and tender with a deep, rich flavor that is clearly different from the classic beef burger. The duck was perfectly fried with a slightly crispy surface that tasted extra delicious with the sweet delicious homemade brown sauce. MUUMS

Pulled duck and pork roast sandwich! It doesn't get any more Christmassy than this. Served with brown gravy and roasted onions as the icing on the cake. You should definitely put this on the menu every Christmas 🎅

A truly excellent restaurant with sweet, attentive and welcoming service. The salads and burgers were absolutely top notch, and the prices were very reasonable. The service was attentive, friendly and extremely professional. There were no parking spaces available, but that is probably because the place is – rightly – very popular. We had to walk about 100 meters, which was definitely bearable. We will definitely return. 16/11 2025 MAKU fully met expectations and delivered another excellent experience – both culinary and in terms of service.
