Don't miss this little gem, where Ida and Camilla cook, serve and enjoy the guests! The food is a menu - take it or leave it - can be combined with a wine menu - and look forward to being surprised! Would love to come again!

We had a 3 course meal with wine pairing. The started was beautiful pastry with seafood, then perfectly cooked duck breast with a lovely sauce and then a type if creme brulee for dessert. The chef also acted as a waitress and sommelier ND was very knowledgeable about the wines. The service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

17/06/2025: The nicest, tastiest, cosiest place in Aerø. Exceptionally delicious food and they serve a very good cappuccino with oat milk. The chef makes the tastiest dishes with fresh vegetables. We also had delicious bread with vegan spreads. Everything is right in this restaurant. Thanks for the delicious lunch people of Ballast.
17/06/2025: What a surprise! The food was fresh, creative, and deliciously prepared. The hosts were very friendly, and the cocktails were perfectly mixed. And if you're looking for some nice souvenirs, this is the place to be. Absolutely recommended!

13/10/2024: We were looking for something light and authentic for a quick lunch. The salmon salad here was wonderful paired with rye bread and a wholesome local beer! It was a beautiful spring day, so we stayed outside looking out on the water. We also had a nice visit with the owner. The vintage quilts folded on the benches for chillier days added charm and warmth!
