14/06/2026: This, ladies and gentlemen, is nothing short of a gem. As a birthday present, my sweet daughter treated me to lunch at Madrick, a place I didn't know about before, but wait, what a discovery.
We ordered chicken salad with bacon and cucumber, a salmon tartare with red onion and Jerusalem artichokes, and Christiansøpigen herring with egg salad. It was accompanied by the most delicious rye bread and a homemade focaccia that was on par with the rest. I was already sold at the first bite. Pure explosions of flavor, and I could almost hear the angels singing.
I can't praise the kitchen highly enough. The portions are generous, you'll be full, and the whole thing sits right in the cupboard. An incredible experience. Thank you so much to Madrick and its staff for a truly fantastic service and experience.
