We had booked 2 rooms and one was very loud and noisy from the street, the other faced the side street and was nice and quiet but a very small bathroom/toilet. Cozy common room, the breakfast was wonderful, nothing was missing and we could get a good night beer in the bar. Sweet, smiling and helpful staff.

Well located, approximately an 8-minute walk from Odense train station to the hotel, 5 minutes to the pedestrian zone, restaurants also about a 5-minute walk away.

Nice, central location. Stayed in a single room, was ok although a bit small but ok for the price. Staff were not very visible but very friendly.
I will definitely come back at some point.

Has Hotel is quite centrally located; almost all the sights are within walking distance. The location is excellent. The hotel itself is showing its age. Breakfast is okay, with cold cuts, cheese, muesli, scrambled eggs, etc.
However, the bathroom is unacceptable: small, with an open shower and curtain, and it gets completely flooded when you shower. It's simply not up to modern standards at this price.

We had an incredibly pleasant experience during our stay at two hotels of this chain. I would like to give special thanks to the receptionists, Amalie and Trine. They are truly outstanding professionals — friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with any request. Such a high level of service is something you don’t often find even in five-star hotels! Charming hotel just outside the city centre. All sights are in walking distance. Parking is across the street on a gravel field. Costed about 20 Euros for 3 days, though I think Sundays are for free so it may actually have been for 2 days. Staff is friendly and helpful. Down stairs in the lobby there is free coffee/tea and fruits. Rooms are OK, but very, very dark, 4 100lm lights do not light up a room. I had to read using the torch of my phone. Breakfast is included and OK, but, no fruits (though they are in the lobby). Rooms in the front are extremely noisy, you can hear and feel the trams drive by. I feel sorry for the people across the street in their (expensive?) apartments.

Hotel Milling Ansgar is well located and makes a good first impression. The room was clean, tidy, and functional, and the staff at reception were polite and helpful. Free coffee and snacks in the lobby were a nice touch that added a bit of warmth.
Breakfast was generally fine, but the staff seemed quite busy, and it showed. Some trays were left empty for a while, and things felt a bit rushed. It didn’t ruin the stay, but it took a little away from the overall comfort. The shower on the second floor also had low water pressure, which made it less pleasant.
Conclusion: A clean, well-located hotel with friendly staff and a decent standard – just a bit more calm during breakfast would make a big difference. ⭐⭐⭐☆☆

Before we went we read all the reviews which wasnt great, but we thought it was brilliant, yes a little outdated, but it is what it is. Very good price, great location and friendly helpful staff, we have even booked again for next year.
