Fun for children, as you order food with Lego blocks via a robot. The food is also served in a Lego lunch box.

Fun and innovative way to order your food and to see it arrive via the track. You also get to keep the Lego pieces you used to order your food as a souvenir. You might look at the photos of the food and think the portions are small but you get to top up everything (apart from the meat). We only found this out in the end when we asked if we could order some extra sides. You will need to book a table in advance.

Unique experience to order by putting Lego pieces together. It’s actually very simple, just putting 4 pieces of different colours together, so to people who are looking for more challenge, it may be underwhelming.
But for kids, it’s perfect. Food wise, no. Salmon was on the lower quality, harder and flaky, would avoid spaghetti. Mushroom and cherry tomatoes were the only okay thing. I would say, you can try for the experience, but not repeatedly. Need to book in advance, 15 mins grace.

The Mini-Chef restaurant is recommended for meals when visiting the Lego House.
It is a system catering offer with a gamefication factor - the menu is ordered by putting together Lego bricks of different shapes and colors and consists of the various food components. This is where didactic momentum comes into play to show children what goes into a meal - vegetarian combos are also possible.
The food is delicious, it is system catering and does not compare with a higher category restaurant - the 5 stars are therefore awarded within this criterion.
The staff is friendly and sometimes needs a bit of time to help when the technology fails, which it does especially when used by “beginners”.
A reservation is necessary, especially during the holiday season but also outside if you want a place. The prices are ok, quite reasonable for a family together with entrance fees - depending on your budget, picnics and the assigned (beautiful) zones are of course cheaper. But if the budget allows it, Mini-Chef is a recommendation! Like everything in the Lego House, it is barrier-free, bright, spacious and beautifully decorated. The conveyor belt and “cooking robots” are a fun attraction for young and old!
