Cozy atmosphere and great pain au chocolat! The staff was also very nice

Discovered by chance and immediately fell in love! The fine pastries are delicious and fresh, perfect for starting the day. We stopped by in the morning three days in a row – that says it all! Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. 😃

What a pleasure to enter here. It is a bit cramped, with 4 stools at the window, but there is a display case with all kinds of goodies. Also the Danish cinnamon sticks and other sweet rolls, and on the floor below all kinds of delicious cakes. We had 2 strawberries, 1 apple-hazelnut and 1 Othello pastry. Each one is a feast for the taste buds.

While Mor Anna may not have the absolute best bread and pastries in Aarhus, it offers good value for the price, being more affordable than some of the city's high-end bakeries. It's possible that their offerings are fresher and better in the morning, but as I usually visit in the afternoon, I’ve found that the pastries can be a bit dry, and the bread crust could use more crunch.

A wonderful cup of coffee, the most delicious rhubarb pie and good service. We will definitely come here again the next time we visit Aarhus.

Bakery is off the charts. Perfect quick breakfast

good bakery, but small place to sit and eat

Bought a scone, a miniothello, a log and a rye snack. The scone was dry and tasted of margarine, which is not my cup of tea. The miniothello was also dry and the marzipan took over the whole taste. The tree trunk and rye snack were very nice. But overall, unfortunately, I don't think the quality lives up to the hype about Aarhus' best bakery. Really nice shop, but a bit dull and bland service.
