Munkebjerg Hotel Vejle

The wife and I have celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary with an overnight stay at the hotel and what a wonderful experience. We were so lucky that we came across a post on Facebook where we could go on a 2 for 1 night stay. And then it was something we could afford, so we had to try it. And it was a fantastic experience and overnight stay. Everyone was nice and smiling from the moment we arrived at the reception with a good and pleasant check-in. Sweet and smiling waiters in the restaurant both for dinner and for the breakfast buffet. We also had a dip in the pool/spa and it was also a good experience. All in all, a really great experience and something we are really glad we did.

If you want to go back to the early 90’s , pay extra for less quality food and simple beverages. It is here you need to go !

Really nice hotel, with nice staff and a good view, a bit old-fashioned, but it also has its charm

Jump in the car and go to Hotel Munkebjerg, The hotel has it all - the most beautiful view, delicious large rooms (there were two of us). Beautiful surroundings - fire in the fireplace in the reception and generally a cozy atmosphere. The breakfast had everything we could dream of and we could sit and enjoy the view in the meantime. Nice spa area with two hot tubs, a pool and the possibility of a sauna and steam bath, We stayed there for two nights and could easily have enjoyed a few more days at this lovely hotel😍 This is not the last time we come.

Stopped by for their "Cake Table" event. Super nice staff, really delicious and beautiful cakes and a beautiful view! Will definitely come again. Another trip past Munkebjerg, this time it was in wellness with a massage. This can definitely be recommended!

As in the Swiss Alps, this hotel with casino is located near the many expensive residences by the beaches. Remember nice clothes and a big wallet for a night here.

One night we had flambéed pepper steak and the next day a good breakfast.

Nicely built hotel from another time, where the rooms are now a bit "tired" Difficult to get a seat in their restaurant Panorama, so we were very disappointed when we couldn't get a seat😞 Breakfast buffet quite chaotic (Sunday morning) as all the food is packed tightly together in a clump of tables, the chef who was supposed to make omelettes could only take 2-3 orders at a time, so we were just sent back to our table without an omelette🙄 The hotel is more for conferences than a romantic stay, so if you as a couple want a good experience, there are many other nice places to find in Denmark, where the price and the experience are also better. Drinks etc. costs quite a lot and is absolutely not worth the money.

Overall a nice hotel. You can hear everything in the surrounding rooms, sometimes very unpleasant. The spa area was quite run down and didn't necessarily have a wellness factor. The steam bath, the only communal sauna, was very smelly. The price was definitely not justified.
