My first visit to Restaurant Fauna, but certainly not my last. The atmosphere is really good and the service top notch. The only small minus was that we thought we had booked a table for Chefs Choice, but this did not apply in the restaurant section where we had been given a table. So we ended up with the Little Fauna menu instead and fortunately the food was really good. To start, we were served 3 snacks - crispy Læsø lobster, which was one of the highlights of the evening, a very delicious beef tartar and oysters, which I will probably never become a fan of. Then tuna followed by Pighvar - also a favourite. For the head mallard, which caused cheers at the table and as the sweet finale a super delicious raspberry dessert - nothing was left out here.

Excellent food, well balanced in flavours. Reasonable portions, luckily there are plenty of potatoes.

The concert menu was an experience: not just culinary, the service was also excellent. In connection with the following impressive concert by Joyce di Donato (Eden), the visit to the restaurant made the evening something very special.

Skøn aftenmad vi valgte vegetarretten med fisk og et glas hvidvin. Venlig betjening af tjeneren som havde travlt trods næsten alene på posten. Vi kommer igen, når vi engang igen skal til Ålborg.

The food was really good, so it was served as a buffet, although it was a buffet, it was above what you could expect from a brunch buffet. You are welcomed with a glass of glass bubbles, freshly squeezed juice and coffee ad libitum. The service is also good, sweet and smiling, but they also forgot a few times with drinks. Overall very good experience.

Maden var rigtig god, så blev serveret som buffet, selvom det var buffet var den over hvad man kunne forvente af en brunchbuffet. Man bliver budt velkommen med et glas glasbobler friskpresset juice og kaffe af libitum. Servicen også god sød og smilende, dog glemte de også et par gange med drikkevarer. Overordnet rigtig god oplevelse.

Nice place, with a fantastic view. I think the place is cozy. I like the slightly raw look. We were there for a somewhat late lunch. The food: We got 2 dishes, mussels to share, prepared a little differently than the classic cream, white wine and herbs. Good move, it was delicious! Then we had butter-fried plaice with potatoes and parsley sauce. There was not a finger to put on the food, which was cooked perfectly. You won't leave hungry! We got water and 2 beers. There is ample opportunity to order wine. Service: Friendly, smiling and competent. The toilets are nice. Price and quality: I think the price level is appropriate in relation to the quality. The food was delicious and well prepared. DKK 816 in total. But DKK 42 for tap water is an ounce. Will we come again? Yes, we certainly do! The plaice entices...
