Great coffee and friendly service!

Located in such a beautiful neighborhood, a really cozy café! The atmosphere is great, I love the simple decor. Spacious and quiet in general. Pet friendly. The coffee is okay but the service is slow. It will take a long time to take your coffee/food, when people leave they just collect the plates/cups but do not clean the table (at least according to my experience), the staff seems lost with the orders. In total it is a nice experience and I enjoy visiting it in spite of the above.

Really cozy café, super friendly and welcoming service, small selection of delicious smørrebrød, good cakes (from van Hauen). Super good coffee, really good view of the canal. Welcoming place for an out-of-office office, with WiFi, good tabletop, sockets.

We have lived in the area for 2 years and this has been our regular weekend spot throughout that time. When we first moved here we loved the atmosphere, food, and especially the sandwiches! In recent months (the last 7-9) things have radically changed, and unfortunately not for the better. The screens for menus take away the cozy charm, and they removed the OUTSTANDING sandwiches and replaced them with pre made cold sandwiches which are closer to a gas station quality. We would do literally anything for them to bring back the salmon, tuna and parma sandwiches which they had previously (very special and delicious!) The staff are always kind, but are clearly overwhelmed. The issue seems to stem more from the management perspective and it seems unfair that the staff get the shit end of the stick from customers. We adore the bread here and continue to buy it, but the buns vary greatly in terms of quality. Moreover the price of the BMOs has increased by probably 50% overnight. Overall it wouldn’t take much for them to improve. Really hoping they can 1. Simplify the menu and focus on the quality they once had 2. Provide more support for staff 3. Enhance quality control on products sold. We really want the best for this place and we are cautiously optimistic that they will get back on track!

It’s a bit sad to see so many changes for the worse in this coffee shop. In the last 6-12 months the prices have skyrocketed particularly for coffee and pastries and just today I went to grab a coffee and I saw that there has been a downgrade also on the coffee cups and now it’s not easy to hold an americano togo because it burns. I also feel like the coffee quality has dropped. I would also recommend if someone asks for a single shot capucino to add a bit less milk so you can still taste the coffee, otherwise it’s not really worth it.
