Incredibly confused waiter - but excellent food

Lovely and lovely atmosphere, great design of restaurant and the food was so good! The desserts really stood out and was soo good!

Afslappet sted og god stemning. Desværre var betjeningen, maden og drikkevarerne ikke på toppen. Bestillingen gik ok, 2 retter til kr. 300,-. Men når flertallet af hovedretterne havde en tillægspris så var det nok ikke helt sandt. Vi bestilte en flaske hvidvin, men efter 30 min. hvor vi stadig ikke havde fået den, måtte vi rykke personalet (da vi endelig fik kontakt). Hvidvinen kom, men var stuetemperatur (28 grader) men orkede ikke at klage over det. Forretterne var minimalistiske for at sige det mildt, men ellers ok. Hovedretterne kom, men igen måtte vi rykke for den vin vi havde bestilt til hovedretten. Tilbehør til hovedretten, ’Knuste kartofler’, dækkede over kartoffelmos møder en bagt kartoffel, og det var ikke godt. Raviolien, der kun havde et tillæg på kr. 25 var ikke spændende, men kødretterne var ok. Regningen kom forbavsende hurtigt, til gengæld havde de glemt en flaske vin, så det var jo ikke så ringe.

ordered cola zero, got “fritz-kola”. need i say more? Edit: Got a response from the owner, and I realize I indeed could have returned the drink. I increased the rating from 3 to 4 stars. Still not 5 because there was a more general pattern of shoddy service by one particular waitress. Other than getting the drink order incorrect she also forgot we ordered extra peta bread. IMO returning drinks or reminding to get our orders is a bit arrogant, I prefer to stay civilised and hope to not be put in such position. On a positive note a different waiter (or was he the manager?) was very prompt and got us our bread within a minute of learning of the mistake. Now I wonder if I'm being too harsh with the review, but it is a decently expensive restaurant so vetting the staff is expected.

Those who are familiar with Israeli cuisine are unlikely to appreciate it, otherwise everything is ok.

Service is friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is top notch, it is indescribable. We felt like we were on vacation. Perfect place for a romantic date. The food and their drinks are second to none. Full value for money. Value for money.

Traditional and inventive cuisine both perfectly executed. The hummus is incredible, and the revisited shawarma and kebab are to die for! And what's more, it's generous in portions. I recommend the homemade iced tea and especially the Birdy mocktail, absolutely delicious.

Had a delicious meal at Neni Copenhagen. Beautiful concept of an Israeli family. The 4 of us took the surprise menu. We didn't like the octopus that much, but everything else was delicious. Highly recommended if you can't choose and are very hungry. We had a lot left over. Cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff.
