Nexø gamle røgeri is a little gem in Nexø. You can enjoy the food on site and buy fresh smoked products, fish and other things to take home. The owner is a former butcher and it shows in the desire to smoke a lot more than fish - chickens, cheese, potatoes, chili and more and the result is really good. The selection is large and the prices are reasonable. Don't miss their fish frikadeller with cod (classic) or salmon. There is freshly smoked herring every day at 11 am. I can definitely recommend a visit to Nexø gamle røgeri.

Delicious food, small space, good view of the water

The tastiest smokehouse we visited on Bornholm. The mackerel was delicious and juicy. The fish and chips are also worth trying. Of course, buying the mackerel at the store and eating it for dinner is a must! I highly recommend it.
