Was up there to buy smoked goods. Always good service and the goods always top notch. This time among other things. Smoked cod. Super delicious

The best fish buffet I've ever had.

All the fish buffets I'd previously visited at other smokehouses were "cheaper," darker, and more crowded. But the selection, the quality, the bright and welcoming dining room, and the spacious terrace here are all worth the higher price. Exactly: worth it, because it's worth the price. The selection is excellent: eel, salmon, trout, herring... simply superb. A variety of salads, eggs, shrimp, calamari rings... round out the offerings, as does the excellent bread. There are plenty of child-friendly options (battered fish, chicken legs, fries, etc.) that are very good. The service is very friendly, and the staff understands and speaks German. The rest of the service (table cleaning and clearing) is friendly, quick, thorough, and unobtrusive. For me, this smokehouse is by far the best on the island (and I've tried almost all of them...). Clearly at the upper end of the many eateries in the Allinge area. Delicious fresh produce and a lovely outdoor setting with a direct view of the archipelago. The buffet is accompanied by delicious premium ice cream.
