Great exhibitions to learn about the Faroe Islands and the Greenland

Was at the Artic festival and there was a lot of good things to see and buy, as help/in support of Greenlandic associations

Fantastic place with the atmosphere of having functioned as a warehouse, active place of trade and activity for the North Atlantic community for several centuries

Lovely old converted warehouse which holds regular exhibitions

An amazing selection of beers complimented by some incredible texan style barbecue food. A must visit if you are in Copemhagen

Super good place with many activities. Concert knitting evens, etc Yes, and of course exhibition and convention.good.

There is a cute shop at the entrance to shop north Atlantic merchandise. The exhibition is nice too, but beware that this building is a mere romanticization of the Danish colonial past… kind of weird that the Danish flag flies proudly with all other North Atlantic flags even though it absolutely doesn‘t belong there. Otherwise well worth a visit.

Enjoyed an exhibition of Faroese painter Sigrun Gunnarsdóttir.

Small gallery with an exhibition of Sigrun Gunnardsdottir paintings. Very gentle, thought provoking exhibition. Staff very friendly and multilingual. Not a place to go to learn about the history of Greenland and Faroe Islands, rather a space to enjoy some of their contemporary art.
