Peking Restaurant Sønderborg

We got a table right away. The staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the roast duck was no longer available at the buffet and wasn't replenished. A shame, considering the high price; duck would have been nice.

Food is very good and authentic Chinese. We had the prix fixe Menu D for 2 that consisted of delicious fried crispy duck, sautéed beef, prawn tempura and curry chicken, and dessert. Highly recommend

Delicious food and large portions at a nice price

Great food. Delicious and always full. Friendly staff. Good reasonable prices.

It looked good beforehand. Unfortunately, that wasn't entirely true for us. In all honesty, compared to the Netherlands, we are also more spoiled when it comes to all-you-can-eat. The food itself was good, but there were hairs in the ice cream tubs. The coffee wasn't good either. The wok section is at the back but takes place behind a small serving hatch, just like at a Chinese takeaway, and there are spice bowls in front for you to add yourself. The staff (the girls) were very friendly, though. So, for people who aren't too picky, this is fine, but when you compare it to Dutch standards, it will be disappointing. Therefore, please keep this in mind when writing this review.

I think it was quite good for the price, I've had better in Copenhagen.

The food is good. But it's too hot in the restaurant.

If you are used to the Chinese restaurants we are accustomed to in the Netherlands, this restaurant is going to disappoint you greatly. It is just a buffet with limited choice. The food is bland. The spices are minimal. Also, the food from the buffet is not hot enough. The chefs and owner eat from the buffet themselves. That should be a good sign, but unfortunately, it isn't. There are also uncooked ingredients in the buffet. You should not eat these raw! There is a wok. You have to gather the ingredients on a plate and take them to a small, almost invisible counter next to the bar. The sauces that you have to pour over them are also there. Then a chef comes from behind the counter, takes your plate, and starts stir-frying the food. So, you don't see the wok.
