Piccolo Mondo København

My husband and I are visiting Denmark for the first time and were looking for somewhere affordable to eat. I found this place when looking for restaurants in Google maps and it was the best decision I made. I don't understand how you can give this place anything less than 5 stars. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we were taken such good care of! The owner is such a kind and patient gentleman. We took like 10 minutes going through the menu because everything looked delicious and we didn't know what to order. We ended up going with what the owner suggested, which was the house special. He made it so quickly, I felt like I blinked and it was already done! The crust was beautifully crispy, the pizza was cooked perfectly, he added chili oil, garlic sauce and pesto for us, and the flavours just exploded in my mouth the moment I took a bite. When I tell you it was one of the best pizzas I've had, I'm not kidding!! I have paid much more for lower quality pizza in the past, and after coming here, I'm surprised the prices are so affordable. We ordered one small pizza and shared it for lunch AND dinner. I would definitely come back and can't recommend this place enough.

The best pizza and the employees/owners are friendly and service minded

Just had a gluten free Napoli pizza which was good. It’s takeaway only and there are only two seats available, so be mindful of that if you’re visiting. Gluten free base was great and not a cracker as some places use pre baked bases. They do use the same oven to cook it (real wood burning) but they do sweep away debris prior baking to cooking. Will have cross contamination.
