Here you really get a wonderful experience. Lunch with various home-made dishes from warm fried herring to chicken salad as our mother thought she made it 😀 wow a treat for the taste buds!! The service is fantastic - busy but with energy and wonderful humour. It should be given 5 stars, but it becomes 4 with an upward arrow, because the room is very small. It quickly became very heavy air and quite noisy as it was fully occupied. As I said, it detracted a little from the overall experience, but, but ... we will happily come again and can be highly recommended.

Delicious food, very classic. Fresh ingredients and good service. However, the acoustics in the room make the sound waves bounce around like chips in a casino full of gambling addicts

Got a Parisian steak which at first glance didn't look like much. Don't look at the dog's hair, wow what a taste experience. All flavors perfectly balanced, and the home-baked rye bread on the bottom, with a soft center and crispy crust, just lifts the food even higher. Nice and present service and prices that actually make you feel like you're getting a lot for your money. True Danish tradition in the most beautiful setting. The place is small and you sit close... In my opinion, it only contributes positively to the atmosphere! Can be highly recommended 👌

This was our second visit to Pilekælderen as the first impression was very good. The selection of Smørrebrød is good. The presentation, the quality ingredients and great preparation is evident. Our preferred choice for open faces sandwich in Copenhagen

A truly classic Danish menu that tastes very good. We had Danish meatballs and Steak Tartare. Then some more cheese. The service was fine but could be a bit more interactive. Unfortunately the weather had just turned bad so the heat came in making it hot inside. That dampened the atmosphere a bit

Gode danske smørrebrød i rikt utvalg, samme med snaps og annen drikke :-) Ligger hyggelig til i en gammel kjeller med hyggelig betjening. Av alkoholfri drikke kan Hylleblomst anbefales.
