God mat, riktigt bra service och trevligt miljö. Fick äntligen äta smörrebröd och dricka snaps, gick på det servitören rekommenderade och jag var så jäkla nöjd. Det är en litet ställe så du kanske behöver boka bord. Men gillar du, eller vill du testa smörrebröd så rekommenderar jag det här stället.

Lovely lunch restaurant in the city centre. We ended up here by chance because there was space, and went home with a good experience of another satisfying fresh food experience in Copenhagen. We were three adults, and each got three pieces, including pan-fried fish fillet with shrimp, curry herring, egg and shrimp, chicken salt, potato dish with bacon and classic tartar, see pictures. These are well-coated pieces, full of flavour. We only drank non-alcoholic beer, of which there is a good selection.

Really great fresh Smøresbrod in a very nice atmosphere! We had the Lachs and Avocado, Danish Meatballs and special white and green asparagus. All were very tasty, we really enjoyed it. All at a reasonable price. I recommend coming here!

Vi var 4 der nød en meget lækker frokost i hyggelige omgivelser og med en virkelig dygtig, kompetent og meget venlig tjener. Vi fik stegt sild, Christiansø sild, fiskefilet med rejer og verdens bedste hønsesalat. Alt var yderst velsmagende.

10/12/2025: Just superb! The service was first rate and backed up with wonderful food. A must visit amd as good this time as our first visit three years ago.
27/11/2025: Down to earth, relaxed atmosphere, kind and attentive service, lovely fish restaurant with nice "fast food" dishes of very high quality. I'll be back!

26/10/2025: Famo Saxo undoubtedly delivers Italian food of a very high standard. The dishes are authentic, based on excellent ingredients (which you can taste are sourced from Italy), and the kitchen really masters the simple but tasteful approach. The food alone deserves top marks. Unfortunately, the dining experience was dragged down by the surroundings. The restaurant is incredibly popular, which means that the small room is far too crowded. You sit uncomfortably close together, and the high noise level makes it difficult to have a conversation. Unfortunately, the 'lively' Italian atmosphere tips over and becomes more stressful and chaotic. If you're going for the taste alone, Famo Saxo is a winner. But the cramped and hectic atmosphere takes away a lot of the enjoyment of the otherwise excellent meal.
