Amazing place for the true cacao lover! If you don’t like usual hot chocolate because it’s full of sugar and really appreciate dark chocolate with complexity, go visit this place. Owners are a cute couple, who are really knowledgeable and passionate about their craft, as well as being extremely hospitable and kind. I got the Aztec chocolate drink, plain, prepared with water, to get the most authentic experience. It was beautifully earthy and complex with slight but extremely pleasant bitterness. Loved it!

Discovered this little gem quite spontaneously. Needed a place to rest after our visit to the Nationalmuseet, and found Pods of Beans on Google Maps. We ordered the tasting board, which included all the five varieties. My son and I both chose the pure cocoa as our favorites. After another table of customers left, we were the only customers in the cafe. Had a nice time talking to the friendly server. She was very informative and kindly let us try some cacao beans, which actually tasted not bad. Bought two packs of ceremonial cocoa from Dominican Republic as souvenirs. Will come back for more when we visit Copenhagen next time.
